  • This beautiful "Little Scout" was loaned to the channel for a video review.
    The take down J. Stevens, .22LR, was produced from 1911 to 1933.
    This model is somewhere after 1916, from the research found.
    I would like to thank all of my channel supporters.
    This little tool is still in excellent working condition thanks to the good stewardship of responsible owners over the past 100 years.

    You'll never go wrong with those old Stevens guns. I love their single shot and double barrel shotguns such as the Models 94, 9478 and 311.

    The trigger pull is pretty heavy for a single action trigger. I would estimate mine being between 8lbs-10lbs of trigger pull weight (possibly heavier).

    Just talked to the guy that loaned you this piece for the video. I knew he was a gun 'pack rat' so to speak but this just takes the cake. Ol boy had guns hidden away that I don't even think have been invented yet. LOL
