So far, I have used it for around 15 months. I use it once in 3 days. Blades are still performing as it used to earlier. Battery also performing very well. One charge lasts for more than a month (usage once in 3 days). Wear and tear is negligible. Considering these, I expect mine to last for atleast 3 years or more. Hope this helps. As a matter of fact beard trimmers are not particularly manufactured for cutting head hair. The blade width is slightly smaller when compared to normal hair trimmer. As a result, it could take more time to trim your hair on head. Also, the clipper attachments for beard has upto 10mm. But in hair trimmer it will have upto 23mm. Since you will cut long hair, it could accumulate in the blade gaps and get entangled, needing frequent cleaning while you trim. I haven't tried it anytime, but these are my thoughts! It will be fully charged in 4 to 5 hours i guess. The lights will stop blinking when its fully charged.
