    owned this bike for 5 years now. for 60-70 mio its a no brainer to buy this bike instead of the overpriced 250 bike. although like you said finding the good one and well maintained is kinda difficult right now. but for touring bike i prefer my xmax 😁

    Just got mine about a week ago. Cant complain much over the 795. Got the right point there mate. Mine was about the heat that comes off the underbelly exhaust. Got 1st degree burn on my tighs going thru the traffic. Crazy. Er6n is much more make sense since it has a radiator. Enough power also to ride in jkt and about. So far no complaint. Hehehe.

      @@Buledoyanmotor wow, will wait for the review on hunter. Kinda curious about the newcomer cf moto everyone been talking about also. The 800s been having a lot of + reviews. If only they cut the luxury taxes and everything, maybe motorcycle scene will be more diverse. Haha. I used to live in kerobokan for couple years actually. Wandering about in a yamaha supermoto. Met a lot of adv enthusiasts back there. Been missing it since i moved to jkt. It really was some memorable adventures. Hope you enjoy your time in bali as well. Ride safe!

      It can be a first bike for learning, it is a school bike in Europe, learning on a 250cc would be preferable as you can open full throttle without scaring yourself, the 650cc can be a bit tricky, 72 horse power requires some control compares to 24-40 hp you can find on 250cc or 300cc bike.
      But if you can control yourself, it is a great bike to ride.

    I bought one a few months ago, it seems to happy at around 4000rpm, otherwise it's got a bit of a vibration? I wouldn't wind the power on if you're in 5th gear and you're on 3000rpm. If you just chugging along it's fine, with barely any throttle, but wind the power on under those conditions and it vibrates?

    • @Buledoyanmotor
      @Buledoyanmotor  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @IansDrumsandBass a twin at 180 degrees, will always vibrate at low rpm in high gear, but reasonably 😁 this engine is happier in higher rpm, it's typical of Kawasaki

      Hi, mine is now for sale lol, if you are interested, you can find it on Marketplace Facebook, you have to look at the Mechanical seal leak, I had to change it on mine in May, the ABS version is very rare to find, and the most difficult is to find one that was maintained properly, I had to spend more than 10 millions Rupiah on mine to fix what was not maintained, new front master brake, new proper brakes pads, new sparkplugs, new air and oil filter, injectors cleaning, proper mirrors, proper oil for the tropics Ipone 15w50 synthetic, change of brake fluid and water coolant.

    do you think it's a good bike for a long touring run? with that amount of money you can have either kawasaki versys 250 or other 1 silinder adv bike, but definitely 650 is very compelling, extremely with the pricepoint. or maybe I should be patient and get 2x the price versys 650 or Hunter maverick instead 🤣

    • @Buledoyanmotor
      @Buledoyanmotor  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is a good touring bike, as long as you stay on asphalt, or could do a bit of dirt road with Pirelli MT60 tires, scrambler style.
      I had a Versys 250 and was very happy with it, sold it in 2020 before getting my first Maverick 500. I didn't wanted to take another Versys 250, the power and Torque is really missing on it, at least on the ER6N I truly enjoy the 650cc and its power and Torque. I almost took a Honda CRF 250 Rally second hand, but they are overpriced, these bikes were sold 62 millions IDR in 2017 and now people ask 85 millions for second hands with 40.000 km on the odo (nonsense), better get one brand new at that price point, but no availability.
      I'm very curious about the new Suzuki Vstrom 250 single cylinder as well, I need to try it for sure.
      I will enjoy this Kawasaki ER6N for a while and see what will happen in a couple of months.

      I have ridden my ER6n.since 2018 and put 45,000km on it riding over South Island New Zealand. Fine one up and I'm a big heavy 1.8m120kg rider. Good to hear review on power and revs.. it has an Eco.mode that users 4l/100km.if you ride under 5K RPM 110kph. Pulls well.from.5K RPM to 8K RPM from 110kph.to 170kph. 16l fuel tank runs on cheaper 91 RON petrol and gets 300km before E shows in dash to refill. Good 2.5l left when.E shows..I carry a Givi 2.5l spare feul.onatiner in a seat bag and.know I can ride another 100km.with 5l.in tank so can.ride 400km.without a service station refill. On touring gear fitted I have R&G heated grips, Evotech radiator guard and.frame.sliders, GB racing crankcase covers, Coocase top case, SW-Motech rear rack, SW-Motech rear rack and Blaze panniers Ventura seat bag, Givi tank bag. Gel seat pad, raised bars, lowered pegs, Puig windscreen, Givi flip screen. Basically like a mini-Versys. Rides well form touring one up. My issue is what to replace it with longer term. The Benelli Leoncino 800.is.about the only bike with similar power and a low seat height that will suit me..All of the ADV bikes are.too tall to get on and off.easily..The Z650 that replaced the ER6n.has the same engine on a much smaller lighter frame that would suit smaller riders. Have spares for servicing oil plugs filters tyres pads tyres chain sprocket battery and intend to keep running it as long as I have spares for.it. Longest Ive run.any bike..Good one up.tour bike. Would.only want a much bigger bike, like a BMW R1250, if I toured two-up. Wife isn't keen on bikes so.I.only ride in.a group.with friends at weekends one-up. Only thing I find as a heavy rider is I get through sets of fairly expensive.aport radial tyres within 10,000km..I am a heavy rider and.most of my rising is on the highway. Takes fairly.aoft.xompound.120/70-17 front 160/60-17 tyres that I keep.in stock myself as most bike workshops stock 180/55-17 rear tyres.not 160/60-17 rear tyres. Have tried Dunlop, Michelin, Continental radials. All wore out within 10,000km. I ride at 32psi front 36lsi rear as per the ER6n manual. Handles well. One.time.a.garahe fitted tyres and inflated.to.36psi.dront 42psi rear that is fairly.commom. But felt.too hard and not.xompliamt.wnough.on bumpy uneven roads.for.me.after.rising.at 32psi front 36psi rear..Good grip and handling at these pressures as per manual.
