Let us know who you'll be managing in your first FM24 save in the comments below!
Should I go for La Liga, then it's Getafe or Las Palmas. Should I go for Liga Segunda, it would be Tenerife or Leganés. I doubt I'd go any lower on my first save, but I will for sure in subsequent saves.
Sadly wont play beta cause of vacation, will be playing on 9 november. prolly use a real madrid save for a day or 2 to look at everything. several other saves ill dip in are: dortmund/Munster/Osnabruck/fulham/wolverhampton/luton/middlesbrough/plymouth/leeds/ipswich/bolton/charlton/crewe/forestgreen/grimsby/swindon/Strasbourg/le havre/montpellier/OL/Auxerre/Ajaccio/Saint ettiene/Le mans/Versailles/GoalFC/Sochaux/Sassuolo/Lecce/ACMonza/Venezia/Palermo/Parma/LasPalmas/Alaves/CeltaVigo/RayoV/Almeria/Betis/RSantander/Leganes/Huesca/Burgos/Eibar.
Will obviously take only some of them and do different experiences/takes on them
will take Ehime Tier 3 japanese save for the main save. Because its the hometown of the main character of the anime serie Ao Ashi. and his main headcoach is from there aswell.
@@Mebsuta Personally would go las palmas myself and Leganes for tier 2. hope you get to enjoy all the saves u play
Bolton.
Old giants and used to go to there matches with the junior football team I played for when they was in the prem. cause it was 10£ a ticket and also the team got 1£ as well
Slough Town in National League South
I was dreaming of the full j league since the championship manager. Finally arrived!!!
This is the best TH-cam channel about football manager. Good ideas, videos about 2 and 3 divisions and lesser-known clubs.
Thank you for all your effort and dedication🙏
We do it for comments like that! Thanks do much for the support
I was born in Sligo and i really outta bring Messi and CR7 to Sligo Rovers at 40+ years old and win champions league
If you can pull those signings off, you deserve a Champions League trophy!
I'm playing a Rushall Olympic save. In fact I even went back to FM23 and got them promoted before porting the save into FM24. A bit of trivia for you - apparently the club was re-founded by a bunch of mates who used to meet in a fish and chip shop.
I’m so glad to see you highlight Erzgebirge Aue. They’re my favorite club and always felt they would be a great safe in FM
A great side for a Road To Glory from the bottom playable division (and lovely kit colours too)
needed my Llama fix today, this is much appreciated, and also very, very good
cant go wrong with that :)
Just come to this video now having been sacked from My Coventry Save 😢, Ive been struggling to find motivation to do another save so seeked some help.
Thanks to this video, I am going to attempt the FC Helsingør Save. I will start it with the goal of bringing Champions League Glory to the North!!!
Great video, and thanks for helping me decide my new save !
I’m a Nashville SC fan that stumbled upon this video and I’m so glad I did! Come on you Boys in Gold!
A great club to write some history with!
Great content, guys. Enjoyed this a lot!
Thanks for the support
I have downloaded Llama's A-Z FM24 Save Video just for Save Ideas! Thank You, mate. I'm never going to struggle for a save, ever again.
So you're telling us Llama does have a use after all?
Thanks for such a great comment
I've always hesitated to go with that kind of save, and for FM 24 I'm going to try my first nation build save, in Czechia, with FK Příbram. It was formed from the merging of fallen czechoslovak giant (and army club) Dukla Prague with FC Příbram in 1994.
Since then, they're mostly in the low first tier of czech football, but are starting their third season in a row in the second tier. My goal is to bring them back to continental level, while building up the reputation of czech football.
I'd also like to crush the brand new Dukla Prague, who adopted the name and colours of the former giant, has been a low first tier side since 2010 and is now also in the second tier.
I love your ideas tho, and I'm pretty excited about the J-Leagues now officially in the game.
Great stuff. Class as always.
Thanks you Tom
Love this videos, always gets me pumped for beggining
I think we're all pumped!
Great work as ever. Thank you.
Always a pleasure
Subbed. I appreciate the couple of QPR references!
Good to see a happy R's fan!
I`m not happy, unless I get the job.@@TheManagersSeat
Brilliant. So many good FM save ideas.
So glad you enjoyed it
I played with Iraklis in FM23. It’s been so so fun, bringing them to European knockouts and winning cups and league titles. Fantastic kits too
Sounds fantastic! Have you decided where FM24 will take you?
@@TheManagersSeat BK Häcken for the beta, and gonna do a twitter poll for the main between Bulgaria’s Marek Dupnitsa, Slovenia’s NK Aluminij, Norway’s Kvik Halden
Northern Ireland’s Moyola Park. Trying to fit with the theme of teams that have won barely any domestic trophies and the ones that they have won were a long time ago. Trying to bring some new glory to clubs that football forgot
Love those choices @@samuelnickels3212 . Especially Kvik Halden - I'm a sucker for a Norwegian save
@@TheManagersSeat SANDEFJORD, because I moved there!
Absolutely love the idea of playing without attributes , trusting your scouts and players recent form wether that’s over 6months or a season
Look out for custom skins when FM24 is first released specifically for people that want to play attributeless. They have screen views with loads of data and metrics on them that really help with attributeless saves
The best content creators for FM! You guys never ever disappoint
Way too kind Drew
Loving this kind of video. more fm people should watch this :)
played Sintrence a few FMS ago
That would be nice!
How far did you get with them?
@@TheManagersSeat Went all the way and 27 seasons, i looked at my save file. 3 championsleagues. Selling your best players every yeart is hard to keep winning everything.
That is mightily impressive @@RoyTheSoccerFR3AK
What a phenomenal video! Spurs for me, with a beta flavoured twist, and then the might of Hemel Hempstead for my main save. Although these brilliant idea are now making me doubt all my choices 😂
Never doubt your choices! Just file these away for FM25!
@@TheManagersSeat already have 😉
Yeah, Llama tends to make me hesitate a lot as well. Still, his inspiration is much welcomed, right? 😅
@@greenWhalerpg always!
Commit! @@greenWhalerpg
Going for LKS Lodz. First time playing in Poland, won the CL out of Denmark last year, time to bring glory to Poland!
That sounds like an epic adventure! Good luck in Poland
Looks like for me it is going to be FK GSP Polet Dorćol Belgrade, Serbia. I like the idea of letting a season run and grab whatever is the new team that gets into the lowest tier of that country's league. Barely any staff. 2k stadium capacity with none seated. Any player with 3 attributes higher than 10 is an immediate first team player. Sweet challenge! I wonder if UCL group stage is doable within 10 seasons.
Probably give another colour challenge a go, I did one where I could only manage teams with Orange Kits in FM23
That's a quirky idea! What colour will it be for FM24?
I'm an Aussie who follows both Football and Rugby League. I'll be doing my main save with Warrington Town as they're new in the 6th tier and I follow Warrington in Super League
A great pick (and a club that is featuring in a forthcoming video too)
@@TheManagersSeatlooking forward to that!
My frist save is going to be União de Tomar, they just got up to the 4 tier in portugese football in 25 years, and once upon a time they where a club in the 1 division, whit the lengedary Eusébio, who also retired there, time to bring the glory days back.
That is a great bit of trivia. I will look out for that club
woah, I thought it would be an idea of A-Z challenge like
- Start at club which name starts with A
- Train them for 1 season
- Move to club which name starts with B
- 1 seson and move to C and so on
Well, that would be a great save idea too!
I think for me this year it’ll be Ath.Bilbao ..
I fancy the challenge of the Baqsue only rule set
One of the greatest challenges in the game. Good luck
FC Sochaux-Montbeliard for me. In the Championnat National for FM24, rebuild needed, youth based save possible and they've got a storied history.
The club of the Peugeot empire, right?
yeah they dropped HARD. myself taking a liking at GOALfc
They will be featuring in a forthcoming video about French football @@RoyTheSoccerFR3AK
About Local Heroes: How do you scout for regional players? Do you manually pick cities and villages?
In the FM editor, it has regions that are not displayed in the game. You can use the editor to find all of the clubs from that region and the town and cities where they are based. It's then a matter of creating a filter in the scouting centre to only show players 'Born in X' or 'Born in Y' or 'Born in Z' using those towns
@@TheManagersSeat thanks! That'll help!
I was going to play as URSL Visé before this, you didn't even mention the exciting reason why.
This summer they were taken over the Jamaican football academy owned by Leon Bailey's dad, so this year they have 7 Jamaicans and a Vincentian player.
Oooooh, what bit of trivia did we miss?
I put it in the edit, premature posting sorry@@TheManagersSeat
That is a great fact@@quacky1874! Thanks for that
Also a fun save , Valmiera from Latvia
What is it that makes Valmiera an interesting save idea?
@@TheManagersSeat for me it's fun to build up Latvia as a nation, the league let's also let's you register up to 15 foreigners which is quite a lot, also great work , keep it up!!
I feel like Y: Youth Academy is very basic as no matter what, you’re bound to invest in your youth academy throughout any save regardless on who you’re playing as so for me personally I would scratch that one and replace the idea with Vanarama National League South side Yeovil Town. Formed in 1895 the club is a record holding club for a few many reasons most notably being the club that’s knocked out the most Football League teams as a non-league club (most notably Sunderland in the 1940’s) but also their most famous success of reaching the EFL Championship in 2013. Poor owners and relegation stricken, Yeovil Town could be a brilliant save on FM24, literally rebuilding the small Somerset club back into the EFL and then the dream land of the Premier League and beyond
Some great save ideas, can’t wait to try some (I’m really just going to use Bristol City like every year since ever)
Good luck with Bristol City. It's the wrong BCFC for my liking, but a great club nonetheless!
@@TheManagersSeatI’m just glad they’ve added the new options so I can pretend Alex Scott never actually left us
Exactly! @@EuanBCFC
FC Andorra is one that intrigues me. Taking an Andorran club to the top.
With Gerard Pique as a financial backer too I think?
Rushall is gonna be a great save this year, just hope Stourbridge manage to get promoted this season to feature in FM25 👍
You are absolutely right - it would be great to get more midland rivalries in tier 6
yeah ive got my 2nd save as them , living in telford and main save being villa , rushall seemed fitting
@@johnhughes2810 I had a good save with Telford on FM23 mate, Nathan Blissett is a machine at that level. He Retired after one season though scored 32 goals
I’ve got a whole list of potential clubs I need to whittle down. Groningen, Norkoping, Bielefeld and Setubal are some on the shortlist
So many saves and so little time!
Each club on that list would make an epic save
Thespakusatsu gunma! Not only do they have one of the funniest names to say, they don't even play in the town they are named after.
Goodness me! I'm not even sure which league they are in!
Oh damm didn't realise Rushall got promoted fair play to them
The Pics have got to be reasonably local to you haven't they?
@@TheManagersSeat probably 15 to 20 minutes drive if that
Brescia in Italy will be an interesting club to manage given the fiasco in their division 😂
And what an alumni. Tonali. Pirlo. Baggio. Even Pep!
Youth. Literally become a young or B team coach for the first 2 or 3 season. Then move to profesional team and doing moneyball transfer rules. I think in 3rd or 4th season, the player stats will be much more interesting to watch.
Sounds like a good challenge
NASHVILLLLLLLLEEEEEEE!!!!! CMON YOU BOYS IN GOLD!!!! (We have a playoff game tomorrow!)
I'm thinking of doing a Lisbon Lions challenge. Play with Celtic and use players born near Glasgow and try to win the CL with them. I also want to continue my Dafuge save with Redditch. Too bad I can't use my '22 team for that.
Oh, it's in the video even. 🐳
It's like we're mind readers!
I will manage Slough Town at least for the 1st 2seasons using inverted full backs enhanced Liberos and halfbacks
The Slough fans are in for a treat! Good luck with the save and the tactic
Lusitano GC, Juventude SC, Serpa, or Elvas CAD, or Vasco da Gama da Vidigueira, in the bottom of the Portuguese pyramid are a good challenge for me
Excellent. Are Lusitano the club with wealthy investors?
I believe that the team with wealthy investors is Elvas
CD Castellón in the Spanish 3rd division. The owner recently came out and said he wants to compete with Barcelona and Real Madrid in 6 years. Can you deliver?
That is quite the statement of intent by the owner
Why do you do this to us Gaffer? 😭😂
Ill come back to these ideas after my time at Nagoya Grampus is at an end 🇯🇵
You love it Cal! These ideas will keep you out of mischief
Sounds lovely, wish i could get there at some point. u visiting a game there?
Am gonna do a save from OFI Crete in Greece, based in the island of Crete, they've never won the Greek Super League Title, gonna take them to Greek and European Glory
I managed OFI during a journeyman and loved it. The board decided to build me a new stadium that was smaller than the old one, but apart from that it was great!
I've never managed in the Serbian league, I think I might take a chance there. I don't know what club to choose, though.
Taking charge of any club outside Partizan and Red Star is a fabulous challenge
I will continue my Llantwit Major save from 22 but I will maybe go bottom league somewhere
It is great we can now carry our saves forward. Good luck at Llantwit
Is there anyway to get a Bilbao style applied to England/Italy? For example?
The only way I know is to create a filter for shortlists or player searches that only shows you players born in certain towns or cities. It means you have to research all of the towns and cities in your desired region though
@@TheManagersSeat so self discipline... Lol, was hoping you might know of something in the editor, thanks for the reply.
I think Altinordu (Turkey) and Chivas/Guadalajara (Mexico) are the only other hard coded ones@@r1xter179
I’ll do s for Scunthorpe United, bring them back up the leagues
Good luck - there's a group of supporters that deserve a bit of success
Do alta if on A most northern club on the game
Alta are a great suggestion. We try not to duplicate ideas though, and Alta featured in this earlier videos about the most Northerly, Southerly, Easterly and Westerly clubs in FM, so we tried to focus on fresh ideas

Barry!!! WAIT no it's Bari
There's always room for a Dad Joke
You had us in the first half, not gonna lie! Love the Pick. i was enticed into it aswell by this video.
The problem with mls saves is that even the ai doesn’t know the rules
They are certainly tricky
Salgueiros don't you know 🇵🇹
It's going to be an epic
Lovely pick @StingerTMS, whats the reasoning behind it. but thats the main save or for beta. could be both?
@RoyTheSoccerFR3AK I've done a vid on my channel with the whys on the pick mate. Want to get right into it so thought I'd dive in from Beta onwards
@@StingerNeilD Saw the video just now. love it. will follow once i come back from vacation
6:31 I really don’t think Fjölnir have a royal connection.
Fjölnir FC are named after King Fjölnir, whose supposed descendants, the Yngling dynasty, were the historical kings of Sweden early in its history.
