It looks fantastic Emma! 🌱 I love Autumn as a gardener; it is the best time to be able to bring back some order and tidiness to the garden after how chaotic it can become, especially from mid-Summer. Wishing you all the best with the filming!
Emmaa plzz leave the leafs on your beds! Its natural mulch and good food for the life in the ground! Put even more on it so you dont have to weed as much ❤❤
SO much hard work as you prepare for 'the folk with the lenses' - I can't wait to see that episode. Your allotment is looking SO incredible, well done Emma. I so enjoy watching your videos.
Hello from Texas Emma! 🤠 I so enjoy watching you and your allotment gardening journey. You are such a ray of sunshine and I always get a laugh with your many adventures along the way! Keep making us smile!
Your allotment is looking good, Emma . I like those pot mum's you've put in. You could put some wallflowers in too, they'll flower in the cooler months, I chucked some seeds in a couple of seasons ago and I'm getting some more flowers now, and they self seed too x
Thank you for the tip on using wood ash for your brassicas - I had a fire pit last week and have been meaning to put the ash in my compost bin, but will save some to put around my autumn broccolis!
Pot ash = potassium, but don't let it get wet or rained on before you use it as it will lose its nutrients. My Dad used to make mountains of it and we had brassica coming ot of our ears when we were kids. Bless his sole.
I love you videos so much Emma! I am currently doing my exams and your videos give me a time to relax from the stressful day. I hope you have a great week! ❤️
I have a pot of mums on my back porch. They already bloomed. I cut them back. They're starting to bloom again. Can't wait to hear how the filming goes! I don't have any other social media, so fingers crossed!!
Put a cane in the middle of each hoop at both ends and one across the top. Tie top of each hoop to crossbeam cane and end canes, no way will the hoops droop. 👍
Hi Emma your allotment is looking great 👍 a quick question for you is it to late to plant broad beans outside ??? Thank you for you great videos and good luck
how have you found the outcome of replanting the weaker crops, Emma? Does it not just select the worse(r) traits? Keen to hear how its worked for you :).
Hmmm...too much growth on your garlic before winter sets in. Ideally you want minimal above ground growth; just some root growth to establish the garlic before winter.
I agree it could be detrimental, but the weather has been so mild recently its not surprising.. I put mine in later this year and it's just starting to show.. although it's OK if it's showing a few inches above the ground!!
Dear Emma I am following your youtube chanel over one year. I love it. You are making me laugh. And I learn gardening. Please excuse my english mistakes. Please can you tell me the title from your musik. Spezial 9.45. Many thanks from Germany

Hello @jgalbu8828 from Oklahoma!
Nothing like a VIP visit to boost the workload! 😀 Hope it all went well and they appreciated all your hard work. The plots are looking great.
It’s time to plant garlic now Emma so that it has a chance to get a frost on it. The frost is what makes a garlic clove separate into several cloves.
Well done Emma, it's looking very tidy with you. You can see the extra work you put in on this day. Good luck for your visit!
Hiya Emma, well done. Take care Ontario Canada 🐝🇨🇦

Great job! Plant that garlic now before the winter and harvest in early summer. They need the cold to divide in to cloves 🙂
It's looking great Emma. Well done.

Broccoli can grow very tall! The gardens looking great!
Thanks for the video.
Great job🎉🎉🎉
Planting soil is not just compost, it is actually a mix of soil and compost. I bought bags of planting soil to fill my raised beds after I built them.

Helpful hint
Get yourself a good plastic leaf rake.
Looking good! 🎉
Your garden looks fantastic very tidy. Good luck
Well done, love it
Looks fab!
Hi Emma well done you should be proud looks fabulous lv Irene 😘 xx
better to overwinter your garlic to enable the bulbs to divide..
I'm doing that too. 😊
All looking perfect.....❤
Love the music while you're raking the leaves.....who IS it???
I think all of Emma's music on her videos is from TH-cam's copyright-free music library.
A fire ! This should be interesting...
ash is excellent for the soil.
You could have split those Mums through the middle, and planted four plants for the price of two! ..looking great on your allotment!
Put a cane in the middle of each hoop at both ends and one across the top. Tie top of each hoop to crossbeam cane and end canes, no way will the hoops droop. 👍
looking bang tidy as always❤
It's good to see you finally buying and using some soil. Not sure why you are calling it mulch though, as it's not the same thing.
Thank you ( hope this helps with the algorithm ) 😇
🥰🥰
This is what I need to do so Bad 😅 it's a little like the washing up get left to the last minute 😅
Hi Emma your allotment is looking great 👍 a quick question for you is it to late to plant broad beans outside ??? Thank you for you great videos and good luck
❤❤❤
how have you found the outcome of replanting the weaker crops, Emma? Does it not just select the worse(r) traits? Keen to hear how its worked for you :).
I worry that if the garlic has rot, it will infect the soil when she replants it, then all the garlic nearby will get rot.
👍

@Y.T._Viewer Emna didn't plant her garlic deep enough. She surface planted it. I tried to let her know, but that's why she's got so much growth.
@@Tamsins_PotagerI think the amount of compost Emma sticks on her beds to mulch they'll end up buried deep and will be just fine 🌰
Why not screw your hoops to the timber frame then fit a stick to top to keep more stable
