Hello Alvin, I have my CAPM exam on 20 December 2022, will the new outline content with the 5 domains apply? I have difficulties in finding answers to some domains and taks such as Business Analysis roles and responsibilities in the PMBOK 6th edition, where can I find that?
@Barbara, since you're taking your exam BEFORE January 2023, your exam should be based on the PMBOK Guide 6th Edition, and you should NOT have to worry about the updated Content Outline. Hi Alvin, I have a question. I’m pursuing CAPM and enrolled in the google certification for Project Management. This counts towards the 23 hours required to sit for the CAPM test. Do you know if the material in the google course is enough to pass the CAPM exam?
The Google Certification for Project Management is a great way to understand the different phases in leading projects, but it doesn't go into detail with the ITTOs from the PMBOK Guide and the 49 processes associated with the Predictive approach. You will still need a CAPM Exam Prep Book in order to study for the exam. Luckily, the Google Project Management Certification Course does qualify you for the educational requirements, so you should be all set!
@Dilip Kothoori, I encourage you to study and focus on any of your weak points. Make sure to brush up on how Agile is tailored to each Knowledge Area, and a high-level understanding of the 49 Processes and how they connect to each other. Continue taking practice questions for your last week, and if you haven't done so already, do your best to take a Practice Exam Simulator before the day of your Exam.
