Hi, I used to be stationed there in the late 1970's ('76 to '78) as an Electrician's Mate 3rd Class. Thank you for posting the video! The tower has definitely run down from years ago when I was there. But it looks like the fish have never left, as we always could catch fresh fish there. Also saw a mother Right whale & it's offspring pass by the tower. That was amazing! Bill Collins

I’ve lived in the us for 21 years, been to nc twice or more or so and didn’t even know about it...but the 3rd/and or the irs time I did back in 2019 and 2018 when I think I/and or that I discovered it with the 1sr/and or first flag or so which was 18 3x/and or by5 or so...and by on, which doesn’t really last or seem to last as long/lxng or so
They could have used that crane they use to pull themselves out of the water with while diving ig they out the fridge on a boat. The crane is also right next to one of the main doors.
I usually like to take flags to places that are tropical and or are windy in general and I take my own pole and kinda take a lot of flags but compact/and or packed or so and a pole...but would they allow that on the helicopter or would it fit?🤔
It would be cool if they got some serious workers out there, hard-core painters, welders, metal, workers, construction, workers, etc. and made it look a little more modern paint and get rid of the rust, make the inside look a little more homey. it’s a little too industrial for my taste right now, but it has a lot of potential.
