It’s actually the first Audi SUV that I like. As always you guys of Autogefuhl are the first to review new cars (this one was totally unexpected).

I agree with Thomas, control knobs for HVAC and volume controls are much easier to use than touch screen.
It's just too bad they reused the 6 year old controls from the A3 which may look dated in a few years
That's what Honda did at first, but luckily they listened to their customers and revived the knobs back.
This is actually the first SUV coupe that I kinda like the rear.

Well presented video - I think I would go for a full-spec Tiguan SEL with every option ticked. Audi are more expensive VW's. Skoda and Seat are cheapened VW's as they have less 'stuff' and more blank switches! Audi are expensive VW's, sometimes with less 'stuff' - so they will sell well! On the Audi UK configurator for the New Q3 just now, I couldn't find a HUD, memory seats, heated steering wheel, a light coloured interior or a swivelling tow bar - all of which are available on a less costly Tiguan SWB. The Q3 had Matrix headlights and cascading indicators over the Tiguan and that was about it.
I find it to be one of the most elegant and well proportioned coupe-styled crossovers.

This Q3 couple looks super sporty, definitely going to be a great seller.
The side view of the car reminded me of the urus. Especially the rear 3rd side view window area , totally urus-like stylings! Can’t wait for a sq3 sport back/hatchback!!

Absolutely agree on manual knobs for climate control! I now temporary drive a new Volvo V60 and it’s absolutely horrible to have to do it via the touch screen.

The Q3 Sportback is the first "coupe" style SUV that looks good to me. Maybe Audi USA will change plans and allow this car to be sold in the States.

The angular dash design is reminiscent of how cars in the future were portrayed in 1980s movies; I kind of like it.
Cool, now make an RS3 version of it :D btw, outstanding presentation by Thomas again, as usual the best.

The new Q3 was already a massive leap forward from the previous Q3 and one of the best in class but I think the Coupe version is nicer again, it’s even more coherent styling wise the the regular Q3 and I’m normally not a fan of Coupe cross overs. I do think they could’ve gotten away with a little less aggressive rake at the rear a la Q8 but I’m not mad at it 👍🏻

Question for any modern audi drivers,can you turn off the "pulsing" indicators and revert to regular "blinking" indicators or is that not possible?

Why are they using the switchblade key. That’s crazy. My 2011 doesn’t even have the switchblade key. That is so odd to me.

Really nice design. Only thing I’d change is the rear diffuser which is too big & too much plastic. May look better in black or grey though..
If it was smaller and not black the back would look taller and narrower
Which would improve it, in my view. Look at Cayenne Coupe - rear proportions are just right.

Why is Audi doing this?? My B6 A4 has the engine mounted correctly (longitudinally) not transverse. These are VW golf's (badged as Audi's). Even Subaru's lowly models have their engine installed correctly!! Get it right Audi. I recently drove past an old 5 cyl audi from the mid 90's and again its Torsen Longitudinal 5 pot is the correct way. TTRS' are an absolute shame (regardless how fast the DSG can shift) as again their transverse. Suspension is garbage too, for again once referring to my 2004 B6 A4 1.8t it has actual "double wishbone suspension' not McPherson Front Strut Garbage.
i totally get you!! nowadays to buy something similar (longitudinal engine and real torsen quattro) you need audi a4 3.0 tdi. and you get it with 8 speed zf transmission. But hey you need to pay more than 70 000€ so that is the lowest price for a new real audi

Yeah, I think there’s some weird decisions coming out of Audi U.S. re:model line up.
They will offer it but maybe few months or a year later

It looks more than actually it is and longer than normal Q3 (more than 2cm)

The new grill is much sportier than the basic Q3. The start button and volume control looks cheap on this design,

The "coupe utility" vehicle segment makes absolutely no sense at all.
It doesn't make any less sense than a non-coupe SUV. All cars are styled to a greater or lesser extent. There isn't a car on the road today which couldn't have a greater internal volume and carrying capacity if its appearance were not considered important. All cars are compromises. The buyer of a coupe SUV may consider the styling part of the equation slightly more important than than his colleague, who, in turn, would not buy a car shaped like a removal van.
SUV Coupes are pointless as they are not good at anything. Poor handling, poor practicality, poor visibility, even styling is let down because the proportions are not golden ratio for a coupe. Throw away the Audi badge, and no one would look twice at this vehicle.

@@spamfried894 'practicality' isn't something which can be quantified: something is is either practical, or it isn't. This car can carry five people and luggage at high speed, in comfort and in all weathers. It is practical.
They forgot the exhaust.... you know, the sporty element at the rear.
