- "Extra" special correspondent Steve Santagati recently sat down with Orlando Bloom, Evangeline Lilly, and Lee Pace who play the elves Legolas, Tauriel, and Thranduil, in the upcoming movie, "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies." The four had a fun interview covering a gamut of topics, including angry dragons, why Elvish hair is always perfect, fan tattoos, and hilarious outtakes from the set. Orlando also addressed whether or not he's up for another film in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise.
I love how Lee immediately comes to her deffense, even his body language (He unconsciously wraps his arm around her when he starts deffending her) indicates that he's gatting protective of her.

Lee looks like his character Joe MacMillan when he's really pissed off...still smiling, but actually suppressing an impulse of just punching the reporter guy in the face for his rudeness. This journalist makes me so uncomfortable only watching this...how uncomfortable must it have been to sit there and get asked such bullsh*t. I hope that man gets fired for his incompetency.

ok, hear me out, alright? I don’t like Tauriel because she really didn’t add any plot to DOS and TBOTFA. another reason being that she’s just the most basic character in the series due to her being “the orphan” and being the girl saying “my parents died when I was young”. There’s a couple other reasons, which I am not going to state. BUT, I love Evangeline Lily. I just don’t like some (Tauriel) of her characters.

Why would the interviewer tell Evie that? It's a good thing Lee and Orly were there to absorb that idiocy because had she been there on her own it would've been so awkward to continue. Total car-wreck of an interviewer to tell her there's a Facebook page dedicated to hating her character. And his questions were so superficial too, talking about hair and ears. So obvious this guy know little or nothing about Tolkien's universe.
I would imagine that's why he's interviewing people for Extra. It's a Hollywood gossip show. I hate it and am only watching because people from The Hobbit are on it, but I usually avoid that kind of crap like the plague.

I love how Orlando Bloom doesn't just dismiss the fans (with tattoos) as crazy and elaborates on how it's because of Tolkein's world and not just shallow obsession.

I saw that on Facebook, not many people rate Evangeline, they were mostly complaining the Character Evangeline played is not in the book amongst other things, however you just will not be able to please everyone.
My opinion Peter Jackson made a good call on putting the role of Tauriel in the movie, it took the movie to another level , I do not rank EVANGELINE, as a personality, however I also have nothing against Evangeline.
Actually Dragons are quite interesting, I had a great dream of an encounter with a DRAGON 🐲🐉which I will never forget and my Honorable Wonderful Father who is my Best Friend and Confidant he is a DRAGON 🐲🐉in the Chinese ZODIAC.
Tolkien just let some wildlife look bad, like the Spider and the Dragon for whatever reason, plot he has in his mind for the book📙📖
