    It’s a switching power supply but the circuit itself still doesn’t use 240 volts so that’s why in my question I asked , so the amps has certain resistors or transformer that’s breaking down the 240 back to 120 . And you are right for the people who mentioned the wires color black and red is hot white is neutral.

      From you say switching power supply you know you ting 👍🏾👍🏾

    • @TROYD9669
      @TROYD9669 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It don't call switching power supply the old amplifier have that in that is why it have a switch at the back. It's smart power supply because it do it by it self

    • @tejtrambharatt5182

      @@TROYD9669 you need to educate your self 😆 do your homework 😆 you don’t understand what’s a switching power supply 😆. The old style is called linear power supply with a big transformer the switch you are talking about is on small integrated amplifier not power amps sorry to make you look silly 😆.

    Nice info bro. One thing i think about is the resale value drops on your amplifiers when you cut the original plug and change to powercon.

    Nice conversation sir you explained it correctly and I’m learning as well only thing I will add is Powersoft X series need three phase all tho it will play on single phase giving it three phases will turbocharge the amps getting the right power at the right time

    • @MightyAction

      Thanks Fred, means a lot coming from you. I’m not too knowledgeable about the X series. I was mainly talking about the K Series. But that explains why I see more and more sound’s going to 3 phase.
      Thanks for the knowledge 👍🏾👍🏾

      My friends AC power is not positive or negative.
      AC the reason there is a red and black are the 2 hot wire the white is neutral and the green is ground.
      The reason why there is a white wire it's possible the appliance you are using needs a 110 control.
      Please ac power is not and never be positive or negative.
      Positive and negative is reference to dc voltage.

    🇬🇧 blue neutral, brown live and green/yellow earth. With brown connects to a fuse from 3amp upto 13apm for domestic use. Ceeform and powercon for industrial 16amp upto 64amp i think same wiring. Then you have heavy duty with 5 wires in had no knowledge on that. But range from 16 to 125amp.

    The higher the voltage the less amperage it uses. So when you run the amps in 220v it uses less amperage from the mains or generator. If a amp uses 25a on 120v it would use about 12a on 220v.
