    The EQS SUV is the first all-electric luxury SUV from Mercedes-EQ. At market launch, the model range includes three variants: EQS 450+ (WLTP: combined power consumption: 22.9‑18.2 kWh/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 0 g/km)[1] and EQS 450 4MATIC (WLTP: Combined power consumption: 24.3-20.2 kWh/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 0 g/km)1 each with an output of 265 kW and the EQS 580 4MATIC (WLTP: combined power consumption: 24.3-20.2 kWh /100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 0 g/km)1 with 400 kW. Prices start at 110,658.10 euros[2] for the EQS 450+. EQS 450 4MATIC and EQS 580 4MATIC cost 114,446.10 and 135,291.10 euros2 respectively. The models can be ordered now and will reach the first customers in Europe in December. The series is produced on a CO2-neutral basis at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Tuscaloosa (USA).
    The SUV offers plenty of space, comfort and connectivity in the avant-garde, luxurious interior. The second row of seats can be adjusted electrically as standard. A third row of seats with two additional individual seats is available as an option (1,904 euros2). The seats on the EQS SUV are mechanically folded out of the loading floor. With the seats folded, this is level. In combination with the third row of seats, an EASY ENTRY function is standard in the second row of seats.
    In addition to the three drive variants, there are three model types to choose from:
    Standard exterior & Electric Art Line interior
    Electric Art Exterior & Electric Art Interior
    AMG Line exterior & AMG Line interior
    Mercedes-Benz has bundled other important equipment into packages. These are called Advanced, Advanced Plus, Premium, Premium Plus and Business Class and build on each other. Their availability depends on the model type. A number of optional extras are also available individually. Here is an overview of the most important options:
    MBUX Augmented Reality Head-up Display (1,082.90 euros2): shows a lot of augmented reality content for driver assistance systems and navigation information. For the driver, they merge with the environment in front of the vehicle and can thus contribute to reducing the driver's distraction.
    Radiator trim with Mercedes-Benz pattern (392.70 euros2): The three-dimensional star pattern picks up on the original star of Daimler-Motorengesellschaft, which was registered as a trademark in 1911.
    MBUX interior assistant (642.60 euros2): recognizes numerous different operating requests with the help of cameras in the overhead control unit and learning algorithms. It interprets the direction of the head, hand movements and body language and responds with the appropriate vehicle functions.
    Trailer maneuvering assistant (416.50 euros2): makes maneuvering with the trailer easier by automatically controlling the steering angle on the towing vehicle up to a speed of 5 km/h and up to a gradient of 15 percent.
    Sidebags in the rear (452.20 euros2): cover the chest area of the occupants on the outer rear seats in the second row in the event of a serious side impact and supplement the protection provided by the standard windowbags.
    ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL Plus (535.50 euros2): builds on the pillars of filtration, sensors, display concept and air conditioning. Also included is a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter, which cleans the incoming outside air at its very high filtration level.

    I've had mine for a month now. Other than it being bad with bumps in the road (air suspension is very stiff which makes you feel the bumps / pot holes!!!) and the ventilated seats being non-consistant with cooling, it's an okay SUV.

    This is what I keep saying, sure Tesla has the performance but these guys like the merc eqs or bmw i7 and audi and more to come, they have been doing quality luxury cars and you get attached emotionally and nice feelings with the car not just like a roller coaster 0-100. The germans are working extremely hard behind the scenes to get out something sustainable for the market while tesla and all the chinese brands are doing blitzkrieg of all kind of random shit just to make fast money, but in the end true car enthusiasts will notice the real difference and we will get back to appreciating the bmws, audis and mercedes like we've been doing all along. The difference will be more and more noticeable the more time goes because now everyone is just saying "oh this is a car AND it has batteries" and nothing more, its so generic and boring, but with cars like this we are starting to see the real power of dedication to the craft of car making.
