I went to a va mobility clinic and they had robot legs for people. It was amazing. I cried watching this gentleman that was paralyzed in war walk for the first time after receiving his robot legs. This is amazing technology as well. I would love to try one of these out.
Happy to see it could work for you with some minor modifications! The Omeo does take time to acquire the skills needed to navigate confidently and safely. As your skill level increases your confidence level increases as well. Then the world is in your hands!
I think the potential is huge for these, I seem one with a Ricardo seat that I use and once they move beyond using the seat and more towards the joystick I cannot wait to see the potential next for them. I'd certainly have one especially given the speed. I find the slow speed of electric wheelchaair is the biggest handicap, and I know that government. However if these can go a lot faster, and carers can go beyond the speed limit but they trust the user we need to stop treating disabled people as if we are not capable of making our own sensible decisions. Okay granted,, I dived into a swimming pool when I was 18 and broke my neck. Let's brush that aside for a moment.
This got me choked up!! It was so incredible to watch you take off. I’m looking at the technology for my son, but I don’t think he can ‘relax’ to control it since he has spastic quadriplegia.
Sorry, just saw this! I’m so glad the video gave you some ideas and joy. I hope you find something for him, it’s amazing how technology is moving so don’t give up on finding something that works! Please message if you want any advice or have ideas! I’d love for you and your son to follow my adventures and show what we can achieve. Who knows maybe team up in the future haha. It’s comments like this that make me do videos despite getting very few viewers.

Exoskeletons are pretty awesome but I don’t think for me, I’d be worried about people knocking me over. Nobody looks where they are walking haha
@@thetetratravels true. I just thought it was amazing.
Thank you for sharing this!
Really glad you liked it.
Hi there, Great to see that you have proved that Omeo can work for a Tetra. Man I want one too. Good job bro.😀
Amazing bit of kit
As terrifying as the skydiving when you started off! Looks great and a great analysis snd review. Wonderful developments being made.
Need more advancements, maybe my now being a patron of Inspire spinal research charity may help

Hoping to give it a go ‘off-road’ before I think about getting one, watch out for a video

Yeah, agreed, it’s great to see technology progress and I really believe give it a few years and these can be a great option for us tetras!

Have you seen the iBot? I'm looking into one of those for my friend who is also tetra, curious if you've got to try one?
I haven’t, I will look out for it and see if I can get a review, thanks
Want! 🙂
Same!
price plz
It around $22,000 😢
Fascinating. Looks like something that would definitely improve with practice. Can I have one? No disability - Just lazy!
The wheels being in the shape of a biohazard symbol is a weird and unfortunate choice.
