Yes you can even discharge at 20 amps( 4 headlight bulbs) these packs are designed for heavy load discharge. (Years Late reply but might help someone ;) )
Hello with these setting on my first module i tried i get my module a little bit inflated. I see some people holding the module squeesed between to pieces of wood... If i squweeze it now it returns to its original size... Do i have to throw it? ... I set charge in auto 5.0 Amp like in the video and i observed 5 amps while charging, I expected 1 or 2 amp adjusting automatically but was 5 amp all the time... Maybe should I limit it to 2 amp charge?
so for every cell you run it down to 6v and leave it there? or only the new one you are putting ? let's say I have a bad one and I am replacing just that 1 bad. the rest are reading 8.3 volts do I just charge the new one I'm putting to 8.3 v?
If your pack has not been rejuvenated, I would suggest doing them all. even though the voltages match, the capacities are all out of whack. You can get away with replacing the one bad module, but you will probably be pulling out the pack again, due to the diminished electric range, and mileage. I am rejuvenating my 3rd pack now, have found several modules with weak capacity, and have had to replace them. I plan to post a new video soon, showing the Reaktor chargers and what to look for.
Tommy, Does the charger automatically turn off after the 3rd cycle? Does it say "Done"? what voltage should the pack be at after the cycles for it to be considered ok?
Modules should never be charged/discharged out of the rigid fram in the HV pack. This is to avoid distorting the module.
2:01, counting cells? What's the reason you asked that? Interesting.
How long does this 3 phase cycle take?
Hey, thanks for uploading this. Great video. BUT, you should never charge Prius cells outside of a compression block.
Looks like author was charging at only 0.2A, maybe low enough to avoid expansion?
CAN YOU SHOW HOW TO CHARGE 2 OF THESE WITH THE SAME CHARGER OR B6AC
I have my doubts about charging at 5Amp, the battery definitely bulges
? I see you programmed it to stop at discharge 6 V. Is there a way to set this charge at 7.9.
I’m trying to charge and when I click start it’ll start but then C(charge) blinks a couple times then switch to say DRY! What’s does that mean?
I have a charge discharge that can discharge at more than 1 amp. Can I discharge at 5amps?

Can I charge two cells at the same time with another cables?? Or only one at a time??
I would not recommend charging 2 cells with using only 2 cables
Do you recommend imx b6 or any other after your experience?
All these sorts of hobby chargers are about the same.

Recommend to only charge an uncompressed battery at 0.3 amps or less for safety and results in no bulging battery. I use an iMax B6 rc charger.

is that realy work??
your batteries is ok now??
Yes, but it is very slow.
+Tommy Johnson yes I start today mine and every cell need about three hours. How many cycles you made?? Really yours batts are ok now???
Run each one down to 6v, and cycle them 3 times. I just bought two Reaktor 300w chargers, to make the job faster.
+Tommy Johnson send me a link to see the reactors please
