Great info. I'm taking your advice on the extra window regulator and the brake fluid tester. My NSX is now 26 yrs old and has never given me a serious problem. Just need to keep the preventive maintenance up to date! Thanks Adam.

This is amazing info for just about any older Honda/Acura. I’ve recommended so many of my friends keep extra window regulators (driver’s side) on hand, and they never do until they’re asking me to find them one! Now I have a video I’m going to tell them to watch, you explain it so much better than I. Also, I love the shots with the trophies in the background, much respect for just letting them speak for their selves. A _real_ pro move.

Unfortunately, the safe bet is to inventory as many parts as you can with any car that had been out of production for a while. My friends at Honda told me that they were considering a refurbishment program for the first Gen. NSX. If Honda did or does do this, then Japan will start producing parts again. Good news for you, your friends, and I. I wanted all of the trophies to go into storage when I retired, so they would not fall on my cars if there was an earthquake. My parents insisted that a few of them go up. My parents usually win any argument on any given day. 😁

Truly excellent content. I own a yellow 97 since 97 with 67k on it. I've been blessed with good fortune with the car and problems. But I have had a few and over the coming years I'll have more. I'm not going to be doing any of this myself I got my nsx when I was 52 so do the math. But I fine this very useful when thinking of my next service so I can pick things I want checked. I jumped around on the vid a bit and I might have missed it but are you working on an NA1 or NA2 car and does it matter.

Hi Adam, I have a fully built 1991 NSX with a stoker kit. Whenever we are tuning the car, it loses ignition at around 660whp on pump and 800whp on ethanol. I am thinking about doing a K-Series Ingnition Coil Swap for this issue. Would you say this is a good idea or would you suggest it to deal with the OEM Ignition Coils failing at high HP? They're brand new coils but still OEM NSX ones. If it helps, a short list of the setup is a Brian Crower 3.5L Stroker, custom ceramic coated 93.5MM CP Pistons, Valvtech Springs, Carillo Connecting Rods, oem Main Bearing, CP Race Connecting Rod Bearings, custom turbo setup using a Garret GTX4088R turbo. Unfortunately, I have no idea what it should cost. The best bet would be to take it to the best/most reputable shop you can find.
Well done and good advice. Never really considered testing the brake fluid or coolant. Just changed them.
