This is great! I have been trying to find a way to scroll announcements at the bottom of the screen. One question - can this all be triggered through OBS once it is set up or does it need to run from the browser? Thanks for the fabulous content!

This looks very useful thanks for your videos..Just wanted to say thanks for all your videos..Our system had gone down for our church service streaming and recording and have used many of your tips and recommended tools.

Just a quick tip in case anyone else experiences this issue. For me whenever I applied the mask to my camera filters, it did not work. What I had to do was make sure that "Restart playback when source becomes active" under the Cloud Mask properties in OBS was unchecked.

Dear Michael, thanks for all your great content, but ! i cant find a way to output my stream to an external tv, projector or other screens...? This would be useful when you are showing your stream to someone in the same room. So basically an external screen on which you can see everything in full mode. I know there is one method: right click on a certain scene and then click on fullscreen projector, but then you have to set this for every scene, over and over again. that doesn't seem an easy way to me. Do you have an idea?

A projector will usually act as a second monitor. So you just set it to duplicate. They will see the entire ui from obs instead of just the preview. So with another monitor you could pop out the preview wind and just put it on the second monitor in full screen and duplicate that one.

Your content is great Michael. I've got a question about guests. Is it possible to record their audio on separate tracks using OBS (e.g. like Zencastr does). If you do a video for having guests and recording everyone on a separate file this would help us a lot (if it's possible). Thank you and keep doing your videos, we love them! :)
I wouldn’t say it’s impossible. But it wouldn’t be easy. Especially using free tools. You would essentially have to load each guest in different software and capture each individually.

Look into virtual audio cables.
@@DjNotoriousGSM Thank you for this quick tip. I watched two tutorials on TH-cam how to use it and they just tell me that I can separate the volume of all sources, but I didn't find any hints that I can record them separately at the same time.
@@LegendaryGamesPodcast You would have to use multiple virtual audio cables and add them into OBS as audio sources.

I use mixitup that xan do many of those things plus more that is free and has added features like timers to setoff banners or use chat commands to trigger things.

@@MichaelFeyrerJr he only thing I guess you can't do is bind anything to hotkeys as it is working in the browser and not in OBS directly. I use a bank of footpedals that trigger key presses bound to actions in OBS for making changes during livestreams.

what is the best bit rate in obs to stream in? when i stream in 1080p it says something about bit rate too low/slow

For this video video t was done for a very specific reason. There is not one simple keyword to really encompass the scope of what this tool can do. And since it’s something totally new I was sure it isn’t something people have seen before in one tool.
