Les Claypool's music has brought much happiness to my lifel. I have never heard a chello rock out befor, thanks for expanding my musical life experience.
"Primus" is the only genre that iTunes (And other music services) has ever accepted as a genre named after its band. Pretty much all the bands formed by Les Claypool are all under the genre, nothing else really. Most primus fans I know also listen to completely different stuff. Heavy metal, Alt rock, experimental, punk, funk. You might like SOME of bucketheads stuff but a lot of it is reserved for those who do not have healthy minds.... and there's a LOT to sift through.
If you go in a glossary and look up the definition of the word bassist, it shows nothing more than a photo of Les Claypool. Amazing guy, he has played electric bass, generator bass, bassjo (a bass version of a banjo), Cello, Upright bass, double bass and in general everything that is related to bass even in the smallest way
Mirv does a better job at the solo than Enor. But it just isn't the same without some surf saxophone from Skerik. The Live Frog's version is the best even better than The Holy Mackerel original.
This never gets old!!!

Eh, a lot... Buckethead can't have that many releases *Buckethead releases three more albums in the time it took me to write this comment*
Haha I value this assessment
Finally an Artist with more class than money. Keep it up Les.

What kind of music would you call this song? Any other bands that sound like this song?

I agree. That solo was fuckin Tasty.
100% agree with this

@AlexanderPimm paulo baldi
What was that guy's name? Oh, his momma called him ...
Well then testicular cancer is your best friend. i need an upright so i can play this stuff. LES IS MORE!!!!!!!
who is playing the Cello??? Name please!
Sam Bass
who is drumming? is that ler?
I love that Pig Mask. If you look close it has eyelashes...lol
Yeah, it's bass, like the fish. During this very song Les says as much.
I can barely hear the bass...
He's good but he looks like someone from "Scanners" is in the audience and has a grudge with him...
Ol' Les could stand to get a decent vocalist. Every time I hear Him trying to sing it is weak and dorky sounding.
There is nothing wrong with the way he sounds, for the last twenty years or so - he is great!!
