You know Disney is crazy smart... They don't use cheap labor from outside the country. They get the consumer to make their own product.

Even smarter than you think, the investment of the guest building their own item psychologically makes them feel more satisfied. So on two levels, people are more likely to take part, and are more happy with their purchase. This is basically why 'build a bear' works so great as a concept.
And then Disney charges the consumer 200% value of the product

baronzoltar Disney does so well at plastering the directions everywhere, shoving them in your face, making it so that you can’t build the thing without staring at the directions the entire time. And people STILL don’t read them.

@@Business_News Okay bud, the average toy "droid" from any place is $100 with remote, this one you customise yourself with any colour you want and can choose a voice. You also get the experience of building a droid which is priceless but worth it for fans. The lightsabers that you claim are like "Mattel" are metal with the ability to again... customise it with any colour you want from Star Wars and even the look of the hilt itself all be it a not entirely unique. I'm going to assume you sadly can't afford luxury products for fans, welcome to the replica world.

Yeah the savi lightsaber quality is ass compared to the legacy sabers they have at dok ondars. if u want quality get the legacy sabers if u want the experience get the savi saber

I love my sphero r2 and it sits perfectly as a display with my other static droids but it is fun to turn on and play with. I really don’t need this but I would just like the experience.
I'm 19 and I know how to buy airline tickets this is why my dad doesnt trust me with his credit card
dude just post a cl ad and ask a cast member to buy you one. or pay me $100 on top and ill build you one next week i have an annual passport to Disneyland. still cheaper than buying an air plane ticket plus the ticket for Disney and the droid price at the park.. hit me up.

HONESTLY THOUGH! i really felt like she wasn't much of a fan or at least didn't want to be there. she was rushing him to make a decision the entire time and whenever she DID say something positive it was just "awww he's so cute". it would have killed the experience for me tbh. maybe he's better at ignoring it (or honestly just doesn't know) but i can tell when someone's trying to speed up the process and get me out the door quickly and there's few things more infuriating. especially when the majority of the money you're paying is for the experience.
No she was just trying to color coordinate it for him and the quality is cheap on the drones ... I know you guys are Disney fans but this is basically a review 🤷♂️

The clear is a R3 head. They specialized in capital ship repair and known for being a bit snotty.

@@Kiddeth Yea, tbh I think the best bet is to get a full black or full white one and just go to town, you can even sorta make it like a poor folk's "scrap bot" type thing (think how Jinx paints her machines in Arcane) if you wanna go for that vibe

I bought a Sphero R/C R2-Q5 droid off eBay for $45 yesterday. I speaks to me and follows the dog. Beats the Disney junkers any time.
If you download the Sphero Edu app you can also use it to learn how to code

They do. Beer is $42 a glass. Sampler set is $75.
The droids run around 100 without any extras (the backpack and personality chips), and the lightsabers are about 200 without any extras (the belt clip, the hilt stand, and kyber crystals). Disney is making that bread considering when I went to Disney World yesterday the reservations for all this stuff was almost booked for 2 months. You don’t have to make a reservation but, you’ll be standing in line for a while.

That's really cool how that's done. I just went to Pandora today and watched how someone made their own avatar and that seems a lot more fun. I'll pay the $110 to built my own BB unit in August.
Back in Oct 31st of last yea. My mom and me were on planet Pandora. I adopted a Banshee there. I should of gotten her perch too but I did not get the perch. I still have her and she was popular along with some other Banshees at Pensacon back in Feb of this year.

that would be cool as F.. if i can build a 1:1 c3 or r2 for 1k even if no motorized movements and just manual with at the very least dome or eyes light up and some basic sounds i'm in.. take my money.... take it!!

If you guys didn’t know for the droid to talk you have to get the personality chip which you buy first
If you want to have accessories along with the droid you ask were they are and pay for them first this is all optional
Now you have to carry that big ass box all day around the park😂😂😂
