This is like the 50th TH-cam video of Balthvs, that I’ve watched over the past two weeks, after discovering these talented & creative musicians. Every one has been a treat offering tasty ear candy and soulful music. Keep publishing please!
This is my favorite song of Balthvs, it holds within it the essence of a magical, gorgeous morning out in Cyprus 😊 I can see visuals in my mind as I listen to this. And what's going on with these beautiful ladies being taught to play bass?! My heart can't take it! 😂
I like you so bad, guys. The afternoon I meth you in Rock al Parque, i left the heroin and came back to my town. The eastern mountains bless you all the way. You changed my life.
YESSSSSSSSSS! I love these live sessions! Thank you so much for sharing this! Always looking forward to the next one! You guys are sounding fantastic as usual! All three songs are stellar versions. Loved hearing Famagusta Port live for the fist time. As a side note the track markers are a bit off Famagusta Point starts at 4:06 and Vapor Waves is off it starts at 6:00 not that it matters much. I enjoyed and will continue to enjoy listening to the whole thing all the way through so those don't matter much to me.
@@LaurenOliviArt Balthvs website calls their music world psychedelic funk. Khruangbin's primary genre is psychedelic rock with global influences. Both bands are a trio with a female bassist who emphasizes fashion. Balthvs has been on TH-cam for a couple of years, Khruangbin for five, although their first album is from 2015. Listen to a couple of different videos of Khruangbin where they're playing live. Then listen to this. Not a lot of separation. That's why this came up in my feed. I like Balthvs, but Mark Speer of Khruangbin is the better guitarist.
@@dubarnik you are 100% right, this is like a Khruangbin sister/brother band. From the 3 piece band setup, the sound and even look. Not sure if it's bad or good, but def feels like Khruangbin.
I’m Turkish and fan of both bands. I understand people who doesn’t have a grasp of 70s Turkish psych/funk music cannot distinguish the difference between those bands, but for me the difference is there. I heard Balthvs’ music before seeing them playing and I did not think like you at all. Especially Famagusta Post is like a tribute to old Turkish music.
Love this
This band kick ass & lady bass player s stunning Beautiful

Khruangbin vibes 😎👌
I feel like there's a lot of inspiration from Turkish music.
Yes!!
Great performance, I listened to you all the time today, you are great. Loves from Turkey. 🥰
que bien que suenan por Dios. Saludos desde ARG
😄🥰
Очень странно и очень красиво!
Может это ацтеки инки или майя !? 🤔🤔🤔пробиваются из прошлого ?
Cameraman needs a bit more guidance, but otherwise ... need I say more ?.... no 😊....just fantastic...! ❤ DJ Erik
The second song is like a Turkish arabesque
Khruangbin 😂
well, this is not tinydesk and not khruangbin. but yes sounds nice.
They're good but a bit too much like Khruangbin. Imitation = flattery and all that, but when does imitation become too much of a thing?
Isn’t this Turkish style music ?

It can work. I recall discovering Zero 7 because I was looking for more music like Air. Still a fan of both bands.
Except better
this is a ripoff of a certain band who wears wigs :)
Couldn't disagree more!

Jeje..es una copia de Khruagbin
I'm not saying they are playing bad, but they really try hard to be Khruangbin, specially the girl how it's moving (so fake). That's not original :(
Severa lok
Hate to see the young lady ruining herself with the tattoos. She's quite beautiful, shame.
