Was fun watching to see if I would play the same moves. Was pretty much 1 for 1. The trickiest parts I think were when you had to choose when to scry away secret technique and that one turn where you burned a miracle to make room for extra card draw the next. Good stuff. That turn early that left you with 11 must have been stressful lol.
Good stuff. I was experimenting with the infinity build with the watcher and I didn't expect to reach the heart so I was stressing while trying to survive lmao
I made it to the heart as defect and the build I was using could be called "electric orb machine gun" because we had like 8 orb slots and would make more every 2 turns, but we got a bad turn 3 hand, 4 curses and could not survive the 60 damage hit
Believe when i say as a watcher, getting pyramid rune and icecream carried me a lot, along with the scry and draw i had i could easily cycle the deck while attacking with divinity
I genuinely wish i had this luck as watcher. Most runs end at Act 2 and 3 and if i do make it the the heart i never have enough block and damage (mostly block though*
this f**ng game, im stuck in the heart with NO ASCENSIONS AT ALL, cant beat this mtf, its impossible, im done with these abusive roguelikes. Anyway, kudos for beating in ascension 20, must feel like a hero!
i just finished beating Act 3 as the 3rd character.. need to gather strength to learn this character now.. so I need to play as this character to unlock the 4th Act?
No. You need to win against the Act 3 boss with the first three characters. On subsequent non-challenge runs, you'll then get the chance to collect three keys - one chosen at a rest site instead of resting or smithing, one chosen from a chest in place of a relic, and one for facing a particular miniboss (always marked on the map). You can skip any of these in a particular act and they'll respawn the next time (i.e. you can choose to get ruby key on any rest site, the sapphire key spawns every chest until you choose it, and there's one emerald key miniboss per Act until you get that), but you have to get them all before the Act 3 boss. When you do, you can then do Act 4, which is of course much more difficult than any of the others. The Watcher is unrelated to this, but can be fun if you want a challenging character and a change of pace. (It's much harder to create a very good Watcher deck than the best decks of the other three).
@@arhamsaa I think the Watcher is the hardest. The poison character is the easiest, followed by the berserker (medium/standard difficulty) and the robot (hard)
@@RRRRRRRRR33 It's funny to see how everyone has another ranking from worst to best characters. For me the best one is the orb guy, the worst the girl shown in this video
There's an option when looking at your cards in the compendium where you can choose a card's beta art to be used instead during your runs Edit: forgot to mention you have to beat the heart to unlock the beta art for the specific character that beat it

I beat the heart for the first time just now it felt so good
I never scry; no wonder I keep dying. Watcher is the hardest character by far.
Scry is super important, also that card that attacks and lets you draw 2 is super good if you can cyxle easily
Nah bro defect sucks. Watcher is easy compared to it.
