The rain in the background really makes this lecture. Well done!

For question 17, I suggest "Should this room contain more chairs?"

The past was so much better because they had better audio.

I really enjoy these lectures. I really wish you would do something about improving the quality of the audio though.

Yes, I agree. The sound was very challenging.

If I look just at the recent past in the USA, I’d say my grandmother was an example to me of some things that seem to be left in the past, but were great. Her work ethics were amazing. There was a lot of pride and great care in many fields of work. It was rewarded more then, it seems, to do more than what was required in both the community and in a job. Her peers spoke highly of her generosity and hard working nature. Promotions seemed based off of how well one did their job, instead of seniority. Seems like a better system, to reward quality instead of how many years one spent at a job. Community care seemed stronger. It was common to take in and care for those who were struggling. I don’t know if it was the necessity of the need for community care because many of the husbands were away in world war 2, or if they really had a higher degree of kindness towards family and neighbors. Something I think about now and then..

It seems humans have an obsession for "newness". This is something worth looking into.

And never think that the past was so great it may not have been. I'm not sure since I did not live there...haha

The past was great because Mongoloids and Caucasoids were responsible for creating all the highly advanced, sophisticated cultures and civilizations of the world!

Oh what a silly comment. You really need to expand your propensity for exploration of ancient history.

Technology itself will not fix any problems only how we use technology may be helpful. U see I can use a hammer to build things or smash people's head in... Its the use of technology that matters.
