This is not the correct way to sign out. This deactivates the devices, which may not be what you want to do. If you simply want to sign out, but keep the devices activated go to Account Settings, and select Security (instead of Devices as shown in the video) and scroll down to click Sign Out on All Devices.

If I deactivate all devices, will I lose games and saved data on my PS5? because at the moment I've already played quite a lot of Ghost of Tsushima. Will this affect the performance of the PS5 or will I just need to log into my account on PS5 again?
I did it and tried on my current ps5 to see if it works and nothing happened I can still play all my games and it even let me buy a new one don't trust this change your passwords
If your on the account it will let you do that, but since it’s not activated as home ps, ‘since you deactivated it’, if you were to hop on another account everything would be locked.
If you share your ps5 account with more than one person right, and you click deactivate all devices: Does it only sign you out on the ACTIVATED consoles? Or ALL of them?
This does the same if your PS5 gets stolen? I deactivated it and somehow they were still able to play. So I signed out of all devices. Think that'll do it?

The games are installed on the console, you do not have to install them again but you will have to log in with your account if they are bought digitally

Well it helps out for example, say you give your friend or someone your playstation account but then suddenly you aren’t friends anymore or something like that, well that friend or someone is probably gonna still have your playstation account on their console and you know, take advantage of it, so this video helps out to prevent that stuff from happening

Nope. I changed my account password, selected sign out of everything, but it doesn’t force you out of a console. You need to do this to force a sign out and stop people from using your account from another PlayStation.

i logged into my account on my uncles ps5 and i forgot to sign out does deactivating make the console stop working or it only logs out

Couldnt you just change the password? Then the log in on any other devices will log out
