I don't think it's dead, as long as you don't buy their clothes cuz of trends but their designs and put out, I still think they have tons of golden pieces. As long as your not dependent on tiktok and their views of whats trendy and popular
Supreme has its place but it's not Hype anymore. I see new channels popping up in the last few months doing Supreme content. Good luck to them. Oh, I finally hit on a Supreme Box Logo FW2023 black hoodie.
Amazing topic, great points, great editing, and I can tell you got a lot of passion for this. You keep up videos like this I see you at 50k maybe even 100k in a year from now! Keep it going!
If a Clothing brand makes you wait (which feeds hype culture) they don't care about the culture, they care about hype. & ppl move on, remember Parasuco? Don't get hyped. Ppl with car loans are learning that now. & they sold the brand like Versace did they're NOT luxury anymore, they're Vans and Coach
I don't have a crazy story about copping a grail but I do have a story where everything that could've gone wrong went wrong. I went to Paris, and man... "Paris syndrome" hits hard. This was there last August and I planned to go to the Supreme store. We were in between the spring/summer & fall/winter break lasting 2 or 3 months so they can prepare for the next season. This means that they had NOTHING NEW IN STOCK. Meaning there's only a ton of leftover stuff that didn't sell for a reason from varied seasons. You don't have to stand in line for a drop. You don't have to make an appointment to pick up an item from a shop of your choice across the world. It's just an ordinary high-end store. What you see is what you get. Browse the shelves, all that. Now, my trip in Paris already went to hell with the amount of unlucky variables came into play. I was experiencing the full effect of Murphy's law and death by a thousand cuts on my trip. 20 Rue Barbette. It's this really awkward street in Paris that would otherwise be considered a place you wouldn't even stop in. You can barely fit a car in there. It's small and random. However, the Supreme store had been placed there because of its secrecy. The area was quite picturesque, and also voided of people. Until we turned that corner. One long ass line of hype beasts. Divided into 3 seperate lines. Extra security standing guard at said 3 lines, holding a paper with a QR code. Turns out we couldn't enter the store to browse the shelves freely. Supreme's latest drop did not fall on standard US times. The drop date was switched to EU times. Meaning EU got it early. (?) On the exact date I was going to visit, instead of a day later. August 25th. Fall/Winter. They released a new celeb tee with one of my all time favorite childhood artists. Andre 3000. Had I visited a day early I could've probably entered the store. At that exact moment I just kinda wanted to die. I promised my friend who also planned on going months earlier that I would help him find and buy whatever he wanted. I fucked up. I didn't do enough research, apparently. I did not know they switched their annual drop dates to EU times. I ruined it for him and shot myself in the fucking leg. It's kinda like that bicycle meme where someone sticks a stick in between the spokes and falls over because I did that to myself. A security guard saw that I was incredibly confused and asked if he could help me. I explained to him that I was here to vist the store in between drop dates. And he understood what I was trying to do. He explained what I know now. The annual drop date schedule got moved, and it just so happened to be on this day. EU times. He did ask if I wanted to scan the QR code to reserve a spot to come by and visit the store tomorrow... Let me recap from this moment on. The day before: I planned on going to the Supreme store on the 24th. Only, I canceled because Google maps showed it was closer to the Notre Dame, and we were supposed to see the Notre Dame on day 2, while we were planning on visiting the Louvre on day 1. It was easier for me to plan on going the next day because it was en-route. If we did enter the Louvre on day 1, we still had day 2 left for our shopping trip. The same shopping trip that now completely fell apart. Rescheduling messed it up. I told security it was nice of him but unfortunately I could only visit today. He asked why. I said that I was going home tomorrow. He understood and mentioned that it was really unlucky. I was mad as fuck and I still am.

Im glad all the hype around supreme is going away..especially for those of you who dont skate...hopefully it will go back to being a respected skateboard brand If you dont skate..you dont relate.
