I just bought an XT6 Premium Luxury with the V6, front wheel drive. Comparatively to other new Cadillacs and other brands, the tech is older, but heck, how big of a screen does one need? Plus it has Apple Car Play and most of the other bells and whistles. The Bose Sound System rocks; the ride is quiet, and the thing sails along. It's got more than enough get-up-and-go. I put 1200 miles on it the first week. Phenomenal car. I don't have kids or a family. It's just me. Obviously not who the XT6 was designed for, but I love the thing. I went with the V6 because I didn't want to be concerned about the life of a battery either in an EV or a hybrid. And heck, the price was better than expected. The sticker was over $56000, and I got it for under $48000.

The XT6 is really nice and I never knew about the rear camera washer. And the XT6 costs less than the Escalade by a bunch but is just as nice. The only thing I would like to see added is a high performance AWD option. Maybe a 6.2 V8 with a strong tune-up? That would be just as good as the Range Rover Velar SVAutobiography!

A 560 hp all Wheel drive XT6 would be awesome!

They should have used the twin turbos engines from the CT6,base engine 3.6 liter naturally aspirated, premium 3.0 TT and platinum 4.2 liter TT Blackwing.Also give the option of the 6.2 liter V-8 naturally aspirated on all trims because some people don't want a turbo engine and make it a rear wheel based AWD instead of front wheel drive based AWD.

I like the XT6, but I can’t do a front wheel drive vehicle anymore.

I can’t blame you for that. It’s a shame that rear wheel drive is not as common as it once was.

@@VehicleVisionary I currently have a 2018 Escalade. When I downsize into another vehicle, it will not be a front wheel drive. I may consider the Lyriq or another brand that has rear wheel drive SUV’s.
