DIY Bunny Ears (Haru From Beastars)

what you will need:
-construction paper or printer paper for patterns
-scissors
-pen/sharpie
-white and pink fur (dying is optional)
-sewing pins
-sewing machine/needle and thread
-thin wire for structure
-headband
-ribbon and hot glue (optional)
quick instructions
-create a pattern on patterned paper for the pink and white parts of the ear, the white should be wider then the pink.
-make sure that when the pattern is folded inwards, you are happy with the results
-transfer those patterns onto the fur/fabric
-you will need 2 pink pieces and 4 white pieces
-on 2 of the 4 white pieces, cut down the center of the ear.
-pin the pink fabric in between those pieces.
-sew those together and trim excess.
-with wrongs sides together, pin and sew the other 2 white pieces onto the white and pink pieces.
-do not sew bottom closed.
-trim excess and then flip right sides out.
-trim bottom excess.
-using a thin wire, create and outline of the ears, then attach a middle piece as a backbone for the ears.
-make sure to leave excess wire on the bottom of the ears to attach to the headband later.
-if the wire is too thin, wrap more wire around each piece to make it more sturdy.
-insert wire into ears.
-using a needle and thread, sew the wires into place using knots.
-do this all over the ears until you like how it looks and is sturdy.
-fold both sides of the ears in at the bottom to add shape and then sew that and the bottom shut.
-using the excess wires sticking out from the ears, use those to attach the ears to the headband.
-after that, feel free to decorate as you like!
