- IS Lock is a useful feature that first appeared on the GH5 and allows video capture without a tripod that is really stable. I used it and the Extended Teleconverter setting to capture an orb weaver spider in the act of weaving her web. The Lumix 100-300 lens can focus to 4.9 feet/1.5 meters, but I needed to add extra reach with the Extended setting.
I also show some footage of a raccoon and her youngster that was captured a few years back with a Lumix GX85 and 45-150mm lens. As this camera lacks IS Lock, I had to brace the camera on the ledge of the window I was shooting out.

Good information, thanks.
Thanks for sharing all that knowledge.
Good morning Todd, I have one more question for you if you'll give me a little patience :) . There is a lot of confusion and a lot of uncertain data on the ideal ISO value for VLOG shooting with the G90/95. I'm using 400 iso. Can you confirm this for me or add your thoughts? Thank you
I don't pay much attention to what the masses think is the ideal ISO value. Anything under 1600 is pretty good in my opinion. I set it according to conditions. But if you're picky, keep it below 800.
