I think Master Indara accidently killed all the witches, it looked like she felt them die and was shocked. She was the most careful and still ended killing everyone, I think that's why she was more inclined to lie to the council since she was hiding the guilt from everyone, they all ended with alot of guilt and Calnaka ended with going mad from the effects of Master Indara interrupting the ritual.

To the people who lack basic Media Literacy:
As we see, the witches can travel as a smoke too or what I like to call "Forcemoke" (I'm not good with names). It's safe to say Mother Aneseya was basically trying to take Mae away and possibly save Osha with the ability before Sol reacted.
Master Indira warned Sol multiple times about interfering but he did. Trying to cover up what happened is for Osha's benefit because telling a child, hey we have to kill your mom and coven because we messed up is a lovely thing to do or deliver a child.

} Mae MISS-quoted Mother Aniseya, she did NOT say anything about sacrificing people at all, she was talking about letting go of wants and moving past fear, to let t go of fear, that was she meant by "sacrifice".
} The fire spread through the 100+ year old wiring in the walls all the way to the old power generator room and the old equipment exploded
} Torbin made A LOT of mistakes and misjudgements based on his own fear and mistrust
} Sol made A LOT of assumptions with little evidence, and he acted out of emotions, acted out of fear
} They were told NO by the Jedi council, they were all supposed to leave, they should of let it go and should have LEFT
} Aniseya turned into "shadow" to teleport her and Mae to a safe place, Sol assumed it was an attack and reacted, but striking with his saber was an over-reaction on his part
) Mother Korril acted out of fear, anger and mistrust of the Jedi, she needlessly escalated things in several ways.
} Indara severed the connection the witches has to Kelnacca to mind puppet him, but severing that connection killed them unintentionally she didn't know that would happen. Ever see The Matrix? It's like abruptly unplugging 50 people from the Matrix, which results in death

@@DanielGarofalo100 First, you need to work on your grammar; it's all over the place. He wasn't reacting with aggression; he believed "Osha" was in danger at the moment because she turned into a smoke demon, and "Osha" began to evaporate. That's sufficient to assume she was in danger. Jedi don't just stand by and let others come to harm. The witch should've diffused the situation and explained that Osha was also free to go instead of gaslighting an already tense situation.

Second of all so Sol reacted without knowledge of the situation, he absolutely didn't know what the smoke would do, he assumed was bad, because he had preconseved all the wicthes abilities wore bad, she could easily be just teleporting everyone from the coven away and therefore descalating the conflict as you sad (like Jedi do with force pushes a non lethal techinique)
But because Sol was inbalanced and reacted with fear and preconceved notions of evil he made a mistake.
It doesn't mean he is evil or a bad person, Jedi are flawed, and he and his team were very flawed in the mission. Always escalating the conflict, always acting with preconceved notions insted of trying to truly understand how the magic of the witches worked

They literally thought the girls were in mortal danger. 'Aniseya' actually said, "It is about sacrificing a *part* of ourselves". 🔸 It's also wild to learn that 'Sol' was imposing his own wants (to have a Padawan... even though he might not be ready) onto the situation. He even almost lost his temper on 'Indara' at the end. That shows a very un-Jedi-like conflict that adds to his motivations.

My theory is that Mother Koril is alive, she saved Mae, and is now plotting her revenge behind the scenes either with a new coven or alongside the Sith. In this episode when Mother Aniseya and Mae began to dissipate it was to save Osha and get to safety. Unfortunately, Sol didn’t understand this and thought something evil was at play. Therefore, I think when we witness Koril fully dissolve she is able to physically get away. I don’t believe she dissolved in order to take over Kelneca’s consciousness because we quickly see that the other witches have collectively possessed Kelneca without the need to dissolve their physical bodies.

This is so stupid.” Instead of thinking “Hmm, why would this character make that decision?” Literally 100 different people can be put through the exact same horrible experience, and they will all make different choices, and take from the experience wildly different things. It’s not about what YOU would do. No one cares that you wouldn’t feel guilt at inciting the circumstances that led to 50 women dying. That’s great for you. Torbin, on the other hand, is not you. Because it's not true .the weekly numbers have been the same .it's true that this is one of the lowest viewed stars wars series ever but it's sitting at 244 million views you know what's the lowest? Andor at 208 million. It doesn't take any effort to go online and see people are review bombing this show which is pathetic work by small people. I loved andor more than this show but don't tell me that people have stopped watching because the numbers say that the views have been the same or close to the same each week. And you can look online each week for the youtubers who say it's the worst show they've seen but yet continue to watch each week just to rag on it because negative gets the most interactions of their algorithm. Critics have been locked with the audience scores except for two occasions the last jedi and this show. This show has at critics score of 93% and audience score of 19% it doesn't take a genius to realize what going on. And the comments these guys are getting from the same people each week just clearly shows that people are hate-watching the show and reactions to cry and complain that these guys don't feel the way the haters do each and every week. Apparently you don't like tge show but still watching the reactions unless you're just randomly by accident searched on the acolyte reactions to make a comment. If not you just verified my point.

My read of Mother Aniseya's move was that she was doing exactly what Mae asked for... she was turning to mist, along with Mae, so she could take them to the location of the fire that Mae had just told her about (note that we see Mother Koril use the same power to relocated herself, and seemingly all the witches with bows, to another location)... that would also get Mae away from the immediate danger of the escalation that Mother Koril just caused in the courtyard. Sol misread her actions, seeing Mae going to mist as well, seeing Mother Aniseya's actions a threat... so he made a "Choice" in a split second to do what he thought necessary to protect Mae.

When Anakin was made Darth plagueis and Palpatine wanted a dark side force user born to serve them but the force does not do that, it remains neutral and that's how Anakin came to be as a child. Not knowing anything but to be a kid. It's just like Kanan talking to the force user Bendu, "I am the light. I am the dark. I am the Bendu!" Aniseya: she was way too passive and lost control of both Mae and Torill, and the coven in the process. 😳
Mae: she did started a fire but lost control of it and she also incited the witches to fight.😲

Kelnacca: learns nothing from Torbin's failure and end up mind controlled. Forcing Torbin and Sol to hold their hits until Indara arrives to undo the mind control, killing the dozens of witches that were controlling them.😨
Indara: After being the voice of reason before and right after Sol finally comes to his senses she decides the best course of action is to hide the evidence and use Osha as a excuse?😨

And I'm no fan of SW Theory, but saw some videos of his, and he seems down to earth and a big fan of the universe. But he is a hater according to your logic because he doesn't like ALL the SW shows.

@@camouflage1086 Damn I don't remember saying that. Here I thought he was toxic because he used AI Mark Hamill without Hamill's permission (Then played victim when Mark got upset) or because he constantly criticizs or nitpicks shows then defends Lucas-era projects that did the same thing, or because he continues intimidate smaller creators who support current Lucasfilm projects.
But no no, I guess he's toxic because he doesn't like TV shows. Guess that's your logic, or at least my logic according to you. Coolio 👍

@@RaccoonVtuber "he constatntly criticizs or nitpicks shows" Good, shows he loves the universe, really cares for it and wants future projects to be better. Just like in real life, people that really care for you will always tell you the truth, even when it hurts in the short term. It's very simple.

I don't think Indara killed the witches when she severed the connection. I think they just got knocked unconscious. However, the Jedi did leave them there as the place burned down around them. Dark.

I love you guys so much, and enjoy how you analyse things and bring up interesting discussions. I’m watching along but have had a hard time enjoying the Acolyte, not because it’s bad Star Wars lore and stuff, but because I think the show is badly made. I also watch hotd and in comparison that’s god like. The writing, storytelling, pacing and character decisions in the Acolyte are just plain bad according to me. I respect you wave squadron so much but the lack of any form of criticism is a bit itching.. not for the Star Wars content but for how they choose to deliver it to us fans. But as I said, love your content keep up the good work!

@@regansimpson1930 I started watching Blind Wave when Eric rewatched GoT with Calvin and just thought that their enjoyment and discussions was the best of any reactors out there. They as now talked much about the characters, the world, magic and houses, what the show was about. But more than that Eric never ceased to amaze me with his thoughts regarding the cinematography, acting, music and most of all the storytelling. And this was still true at the end of GoT because they were willing to, not slamming and shit talking (like many others did), but to creatively criticise and remark upon what was good and what was bad. Now it feels like they only focus on what’s good and therefore not even acknowledging what could be better. Perhaps that’s a better feeling but to me it feels like a lie to myself, and as fans, don’t we deserve better?

"Don't we deserve better?" Do you hear yourself? It's four guys, having fun with a show. That's literally the long and short of it. There's no grand conspiracy, they aren't faking anything. Why should they make criticisms when they don't feel that way?
They are just having a genuine fun time. It really isn't that deep 😂

@@katieee1203 that sentiment was directed towards todays creators of Star Wars not to Wave Squadron, I mean not to bear any ill intent towards them. I’m just stating that they are more than a reaction channel since they have so much knowledge about Star Wars and filmmaking, so the reaction is a small part (still is) but after that they would not only discuss the in universe stuff that we perhaps got to see first time in live-action but also how it was made. As I said before the storytelling is always, no matter what history you’re trying to tell, of uppermost importance. And as I wrote before, criticism doesn’t need to be bashing but a natural way to understand that nothing is perfection
