    If you don't like the generic switch you can buy factory combination headlight/fog switch. Power wire connects it to the factory wire harness near the fuse box on the left side motor & add a fuse. That's if want a cleaner look. Don't have run any wires to the aftermarket switch anymore. Since the all Honda's are pre-wired. I actually like the smoked lenses you got!

    Can’t believe you took the bumper off..... did mine in 15-20 min. Cover just poops out and you stick them same way they come out, run your wire pry it to the current blue fog light conector, add relay and fuse .... also buy inside cabin switch original oem from the touring.
    Cheers

      I previously watched a video of the install and they removed the front bumper so I did too lol. It was fine though as I will need to remove it to repaint it someday. As for a switch, I have none since I always want them on anyway as DRLs so I'm using a fuse splicer (whatever it's called) connected to the fuel pump.

    This video was helpful I just put a pair on a 2014 EX today and I even did it without taking the whole bumper off thanks to this video. .. lol btw luckily mine came with a perfect fitting switch.

    Great video man good installer got some funny clips on there you could actually buy the turn signal switch from the dealer that already have the fog light switch built-in much cleaner look good luck man

      Thanks. I'm actually no longer using a switch. I'm using a fuse splitter to splice them to my fuel pump since I want them on like DRLs anyway.

    Amazing video, I have the same fogs same brand as well, unfortunately the switch didn’t fit cause I also didn’t like the way it looks, even in the description when I got them, it say THE SWITCH FITS PERFECTLY “WRONG” and I ended up taking it to the shop and they splice with the low beams which it works perfect, thank you for an amazing video

    I watched this video a while back and then I got a second 2014 EXL and I discovered the spot where you put in the fog fog lights those things just pop out of the grill where the fog lights go.. You just got to take the bottom plastic off below the bumper to run your wires. And there will be a screw underneath that plastic under the fog light that goes into the fog light bracket that holds it in place from the bottom.

      Yeah I probably didn't have to but I felt I could install the harness better with it off. Plus I also plan on repainting the bumper later so it's nice to know how it's installed.

    What kind of bulbs did you use for DRL and did you have to relay to resistor to avoid DRL error light? Nice video btw

    • @dandoesjunk7546
      @dandoesjunk7546  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used Calais 9005 yellow LEDs but am currently using YLife 6000k white LEDs. But regardless of LEDs I am using an anti-flicker resistor on them to avoid error.
