Thank you so much for this! The last reference I got on Google was an exterminator who showed a dead mouse and rat, which upset me! I was so glad to find this!
Loved your video. Now I know that I saw two young rats in Central Park, NY yesterday and today (May 24) Cute! I noticed their feet were light pink. Do they stay that color as adults? Cause all the adults I've seen, I don't remember pink feet.
Hmm... the real reason mice bite you is because rats are predators and their odor is very stressful for mice. They feel threatened and then they bite. Try to test their behavior by separating them.
i have 2 female breder rats they had 17 babies, and they had just sarted to open there eyes and one day the moms just killed and started to eat them, pleas tell me y they did that
as I'm seeing it here, it would be more economical to feed your corn snake young rats than adult mice. faster turnover too. it would also lead to less problems if you're live feeding since the young rats wouldn't fight back as much as a adult mouse of the same size...
It took me about three months to tame my three mice ( clary- sage, Lindsey and Ashly). I still have scars on my fingers from it, but now I can hold then. Ashly loves to just sit in my pocket or on my head. You just have to be patient. And please don't pick up the mouse by its tail. You pick it up at the base.
Ok First off lets clear this up: these rodents are reptile food, not pets, I don't think he is concerned about toys, tossing, dropping, picking them up by the tail or getting them neutered. I don't agree with the whole idea myself because I have 8 pet rats myself but I do understand the food chain and why this guy does what he does. Besides no human in their right mind would own that many pet rats or mice anyways.
WRONG is that a feeder mouse? if it is they hardly ever bite unless threatend also NOT STUPID my mice have never bit any one even WHEN THEY WERE THREATEND

Great channel, very interesting
Better be Ratman than Mouse-Man if you're thinking of being a rodent-themed crimefighter. He he.

Really informative, helps me be less disgusted by rats now.
YOU MONSTER!!! If there were animal control,i'd call them to take away your rodents
Oh lord! Now I can really notice the difference. Mice scurry and rats crawl. The scurrying is why I think mice are so creepy.
Mice are not dumb, and you shouldn't pick them up like that.
I enjoyed your video.. and learned a lot. thank you
out of curiosity, how do you keep your rats from killing the mice when housed together?
How about you pick them up by the "base" of the tail. Can you learn more about mice in general, please.

Not to be rude like others, but please be a little more gentle with the animals
never pick them up by their tails - i dont know much about mice, but I know that it can break a rat's back and kill it.
AND NEVER PICK UP MICE BY THEIR TAIL IT CAN RIP TJE SKIN AN HURT THEM!
It's a mouse bro chill
I'm not an expert in rats but I think they totally don't care since they land on bedding.
be a little more careful when holding babies
thought it was a fight video. my gf was telling me about a time her petstore put like 40 mice and rats together and the rats ate all the mice heads.
