Thank you so much for making this. It saved me so much time and headaches. I was also able to separate the condenser and radiator in the vehicle without draining the a/c. A little more work but saves some money.
You don't have to remove the condenser to get to the radiator this is only a short cut but a little bit of work you can literally remove the radiator by it self
I also got this done on my wifes 2014 without emptying the ac system Taking out the headlights, which is 2 screws each, the clips you need to snap to separate the radiator and ac condensor are literally right there as if they were intended to be accessed this way. I will say however its best to find something to support the condensor with. It will be just dangling until everything is back together. Probably why it's recommended in the service manual to drain the ac system. But... it can be done without messing with the ac junk
No you don’t have to drain the A/c you can separate it in car I did it.. but most likely not the radiator check the connection top drivers side of radiator that hose is bad to leak not radiator
I do them all the time without draining ac, I split the condenser off the radiator while it’s still in the bumper and just drop the radiator, it will come out by itself
I loosened the ac condenser lines and had a hissing noise start then spew at greenish liquid. Realized I didn’t drain the A/C condenser and tighten it up again. Should I continue and finish replacing the radiator and just have a mechanic properly drain and recharge my ac after?
@@MalTrice so when you did remove it did you only pop off the right side line? With the cap not the one seated inside with the lil gasket on the left? And you were able to like zip tie it to the other line and ac and all worked after?

Thanks for this video , so good . I also removed the radiator without removing the ac condenser. Just leave it hanging and put a bungee cord

Excellent video!
Просто отлично!
I didn't have the AC refrigerant drained so when I disconnected the lines it shot out I assume I gotta re fill it when I'm done but idk
On despegar primero los clip de arriba del condensador del radiador lo demás es fácil sin desconectar el sistema de enfriamiento
Hi. What’s the brand of the coolant? Thanks @TRQ
Taking the condenser out is a waste of time and money lol
You can separate the condenser whit screw driver no worry if broke the new got the same
Thank you! Now my cooling fan is not working
same procedure for focus mk3.5 2016 ??
Do you have the size for double ended bolts please.
What is the size of orings or what is the exact part no. Are they the same size?
19:12 in there a o ring that I have to take off the old radiator and put into the new radiator?
Does this work for a 2012
How about for ford -max 2016 radiator!
What if it leaks out of expansion hose wants you fill it?
What would a shop charge for this job
Did you have to drain and then recharge the A/C system? If so why did you not include that in the video?
He quickly mentioned he had to drain the AC system and have it done by a professional.
I do them all the time without draining ac, I split the condenser off the radiator while it’s still in the bumper and just drop the radiator, it will come out by itself
What is the exact year of this particular car?

I didnt remove the AC condenser like he did. you can leave that attached and have something holding it up. i was able to remove just the radiator.

How do you get rid of the AC refrigerant
Vent to atmosphere
Am I the only one confused in why he put the fan shroud infront of the co sensor and instead of behind the radiator facing the motor
Do not remove the air conditioner lines it's a waste of money you can get the radiator out when you drop it down
this car requires G12 type coolant, aka the pink bubble gum looking one.
Thank you for this. Great is capitalism :/
