  • Back in the woods 🌲🌲🌲 Baby makes an appearance at the end 🥰🥰
    These old folk songs move me. They connect me to my ancestors. Thinking of the heart ache of generations of slighted women

    This is perfect mother in the world. I could give everything for childhood remembering about sunshine forest and adorable singing mother's voice ❤

    The woods look lovely, must of been great living in them wild and free once upon a time.

      Yes like outlaws in the time of Robin Hood

      @@EatBakeSing There's a lot of areas along the A6 between Belper and Buxton that would genuinely be great to go and live in like a hermit lol, escape the madness of the modern world.

      Best time of year. Mind you, I love all the seasons. The birds aren’t quite vocal yet (I’ve been listening back to some old videos made later in the year)

    I just wanted to say that I love your channel. As a folk singer myself, it's always lovely to get inspiration from others. I'm a big Robin Hood fan, so your location in Nottinghamshire can't help but make me think of you like a voice back from out of history and legend

      Ah, thanks so much :) yes it's very close to where Robin Hood roamed. This particular wood was hills were Lord Byron walked and wrote poetry. Very likely Robin Hood was there too. My little babe (who you see at the end is also a little Robin 💜)

    PS have you made a video of “‘Twas on one April morning?”

      @EatBakeSing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh no!! It's been on my list to learn for ages actually! So thank you for the reminder 😊😊 I did also record "Early One Morning" again while out in the woods. It's hard to find April songs. They're all about May so there'll be loads soon!
