I took the lids off and took a peep. The heavy sixer looks band new, like factory fresh inside. Still going to re-cap them, put in new voltage regs, and rebuild the switches if they need it. The 4 switcher has those weird glossy marks on the "fins" . I'm thinking somebody "touched it up" with a Sharpie or something. It was cool to get these, but not what I went for. They had TG16's and a Duo mentioned in the public notice of the estate sale. So overall I was disappointed because I wanted a TG system for my collection. 🤣🤣 Not a just re-furb and and flip. But c’est la vie!! The channel can use the income.
It was cool. Especially when I saw the heavy sixer Sunnyvale. However, I already have all these ataris, so these ones will be sold after I recap them, put in new voltage regulators and rebuild the switches. I'm going to sell them all as one lot so it'll make some Atari collector very happy.
Great video. I'm glad your drive there wasn't for nothing. I guess it's always good to ask the ones running the estate sale. Not something I would have ever thought to go to but now I may look. Probably not in Japan but you never know. Thanks for the shout-out I'm really excited to show you what Atari I found.
Thanks. After I re-furb and flip them it will be worth it then. I already have these models. So these are strictly for re-sale. Estate sales are the way to go. I've gotten so many great deals at them. No prob. You have the start of a great channel. Keep up the good work. It takes time, but soon you will have thousands of subs. 😄😄 If I had to guess, you are doing an Atari Lynx?
Admittedly, I was very chaotic with my collection and adding to my collection over the years. I had done it all differently for sure, but it is what it is. So I would’ve always considered myself more of a COLECOVISION OR AMIGA guy but if you were to look through my collection today as it stands, well, it’s mostly 2600 based. I just kept getting good deals and finding stuff for that platform and so it goes, all Atari 2600 stuff seem to replicate itself like Tribbles from Star Trek. I swear to God. That stuff just accumulates without you even trying, just blink and you’ll have more 2600 stuff, ha ha ha.
🤣🤣 Tribbles, love it. Yeah, your right. I literality have 3 totes full of Atari 2600's, joysticks, paddles, keypads, system shells, motherboards, chips (IC's), etc.. All for the 2600. I call it my 2600 boneyard. 🤣🤣Wish I had that much for my Amigas., I'd be a rich man.. 🤣🤣
Nice pickup! Those are some clean looking 2600's for sure.

So cool that you picked up three different models and that they all work very nice 😊
