I actually thought you were going to show a tutorial on how to make them!
Okay. I'm obsessed with those puppies! So so cute!
Hi Becky! I know...I want to make a few more! ❤️
I can’t wait to give him to my nephew. ❤ SO adorable.
Hi Michelle! I'm so glad you had me make a puppy. And a chicken! You're broadening my horizons. 🦊❤️
@@StrawberryBonnieCrochet I love being able to give them something unique. They are well made - quality. I wish I had that talent. I can’t wait to see their faces on Christmas. 🎄🎅
Hi! This written pattern is really confusing me, I'm a beginner but I really want to make this puppy, is there a TH-cam video that you know of that makes this same puppy but with a visual tutorial? Thank you 💗
Hi, I don't know of a tutorial for this puppy. If you have questions, maybe I could help. ❤️
@@StrawberryBonnieCrochet okay I will come back if I have any questions, thank you
Crafts has one. I have purchased it or ones like it about 4 different places.
Do you have a tutorial ???
I love the green puppy with the pink ears! He's adorable and I thought you did it on purpose, not that you came by it on accident.
Arms.---Using blanket yarn. I had a cone shape . This what I did to solve the cone shape increased by two stitches, and used a 9mm needle. round 1( 8 )stiches. Round 2 (16) stitches. Round 3-4(16) stitches 8mm needle.
Hi Tammy! Thank you for sharing this tip. I'll have to try that next time my shaping isn't right. ❤️
Adorable puppies.
Thank you! ❤️
omg sooooo Adorable //i love this brown pup . lovely color
You are so kind! Thank you! 🙂
I would love to see a video of how to attach the arms
Hi Lori! I'll see what I can do. 😊 I've been wanting to make another one of these puppies. ❤️
Does anyone know if there's a step-by-step tutorial for this, or something simillar?! i can't read patterns aha
I love this puppy I made one for my son and one for my God baby ❤
Hi! 🙂 It's such a cute pattern! I bet they love their puppies! ❤️
Hi Bonnie! Cute amigurmi puppies!

Hi Denise! Thank you! ❤️
It really is sooo adorable!! ❤
Hi Barbara! ❤️ I almost started making another puppy but decided to work on my Jayda InStitches calendar blanket. Trying to finish up those good ol wips! 🙂
Awww
THANK YOU!!! now i know exactly what to do with my ball bands ans i'm going to write the link to the pattern with it and put it in a file punch hole type sort by date or yarn weight maybe
That's a great idea! 🙂
Those puppies are adorable!😍
Oh so cute!
Hi Teresa! Thank you! ❤️
I have everything I need, however I’m reading the pattern ( several times ) lol and I don’t understand the directions for joining the legs and arms to the body. It’s sounds confusing. Maybe once I have the parts done I’ll get it. If you can explain it that would really help. 🙂
Hi! When joining the legs and arms to the body, hold the arm (or leg 🙂) against the outside of the body, pinching the stitches together. You will put your hook into the top first sc stitch of the arm (where you closed the arm with 4 sc), through the body, then complete the single crochet. So you are crocheting through both the arm (or leg) and the body at the same time. I hope this helps! ❤️
I am a bit confused about the eye and nose, the pattern lists 10 mm safety eyes and 12 mm safety nose, but that's not what you said in the video. Is the video a different size dog? What should I buy? I was thinking of using the Bernat blanket yarn you use in the video. Thank you!
Hi! The dog in the video is a different size because of the yarn and hook size I used. Also, my tension tends to be tighter so depending on how you crochet, the size of the dog may be different. For the eyes and nose I just used whatever I had on hand and that looked best. As long as you are happy with it, I don't think it really matters what the specific sizes of the eyes and nose are. I hope this helps! ❤️🙂
So adorable thankyou sooo moch. I am going to make one today. 😂❤
Have fun! 🙂 I want to make another one!
Can you please share where you got the safety noses, I’ve basically fully finished this piece but struggling to find noses.
I ordered them from amazon. They came in a pack with a few different sizes. I don't recall the exact ones that I ordered but these could be it: www.amazon.com/Plastic-Puppets-Stuffed-Amigurumi-Supplies/dp/B09DC4JNKY/ref=sxin_16_pa_sp_search_thematic_sspa?content-id=amzn1.sym.679ca254-fe3a-4b5e-a742-a17f009c74a4%3Aamzn1.sym.679ca254-fe3a-4b5e-a742-a17f009c74a4&crid=23R14KUI2NL3O&cv_ct_cx=safety%2Bnoses%2Bfor%2Bcrochet%2Banimals&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.1_8PoRoi_NzFIEOw5ekDDeeoKN-pgvc_q7zmIWY5PFdIBDPPyFYLGzAlsLfsDGRxpzOYMDZU0p23i1uHHrxi3A.X_daCimjATmCoHl8NKl9XUIuCp4Mb1Ro0-ngiPi9y7s&dib_tag=se&keywords=safety%2Bnoses%2Bfor%2Bcrochet%2Banimals&pd_rd_i=B09DC4JNKY&pd_rd_r=f0b26767-68ca-4cc2-8b8b-123d266b0170&pd_rd_w=AtA0B&pd_rd_wg=lrWpi&pf_rd_p=679ca254-fe3a-4b5e-a742-a17f009c74a4&pf_rd_r=55B6YYB7A9D2RV6JST6P&qid=1715130306&sbo=RZvfv%2F%2FHxDF%2BO5021pAnSA%3D%3D&sprefix=safety%2Bnoes%2Caps%2C139&sr=1-4-364cf978-ce2a-480a-9bb0-bdb96faa0f61-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9zZWFyY2hfdGhlbWF0aWM&th=1
Really cute❤
Thank you! 🙂
Please help me I can’t do R:9 of the body when you attach the legs
Hi! When attaching the legs at row 9, first single crochet for 7 stitches, then hold the leg and the body against each other and put your hook through both the top of the leg and the next stitch of the body and single crochet them together. I hope this helps! ❤️
finished crocheting my amigurumi pup ..only problem is itshead is not sitting well and moving back n forth ?
Sometimes that happens to my amigurumi too. I usually try sewing it to the body down a row. I leave it on when it's loose but sew it by picking up stitches on the body at the row below where the head is wobbly.
yes .. i watched few videos on how to fix wobbly amigurumi heads..then followed those suggestions ..voila it turned out good .
thanks , enjoyed making this pup. love your amigurumi creations @@StrawberryBonnieCrochet
How much grams of yarn did it take you to make this? Is 100gram enough? ❤️
Hi! It took about 300 grams. The bernat blanket yarn that I used was a 300 gram ball and I used almost all of it. ❤️
Do u think I can use this pattern to make a bunny? Maybe different ears, eyes etc
Yes! That would be adorable. The body shape could be any animal, really. ❤️
Your puppies are ADORABLE! Any chance you may share your kitty projects and/or the pattern that you use for your kitties? Thank you so much, and have a wonderful day!
Thank you so much! I link all the patterns in the description box. 💖
I’m stuck with attach leg, doesn’t pattern doesn’t say how or what direction I’m confused, can you help me?
For the legs I held it against the body and crocheted it on. You could also sew it on. I did one leg first and then just made sure the other leg looked like it was facing the same direction as the attached leg. ❤️
I need help finding the pattern
Hi! The pattern can be found here: amigurum.com/2021/01/crochet-plush-dog-free-pattern.html
first question .. in the pattern ,,we usually start with magic circle but this pattern says single crochets in second chain ? increases are like amigurumi ..bit confused .
I used a magic circle instead. Depending on yarn choice, starting with a chain might be easier if it's a thicker yarn. I used bernat blanket and the magic circle worked better for me. 🙂
thanks foryour early reply. i will start with magic circle too .i am using a bulky 5 0r 6 velvety ,, blanket yarn a local brand ..as bernat is expensive here where i reside in india. nd considering hook 7mm. or an 8mm. like you , recomended size is 6mm 6.5mm but thats not working smoothly
What size hook did you use for the blanket yarn? The pattern says to use a 4mm, but I am finding it difficult with the yarn.
Hi! I used an 8mm hook with the blanket yarn. 🙂
what size safety eyes n nose did u use for the lovely taupe colored pup ?
Hi! I used 18mm eyes. I don't know for sure for the nose but I would guess 20-22mm. The nose is slightly bigger than the eyes. Hope this helps! 🙂
ok thanks @@StrawberryBonnieCrochet
Hi I did this adorable puppy for a friend's son's birthday gift but I noticed the head is kinda top heavy
Any tips to fix that and make it stay up right like yours?
Hi! Sometimes when I have trouble with a bobbly head, I sew a few stitches from the shoulder/neck area to the base of the head. If the head is leaning towards the front, maybe a few stitches from the base of the head in the middle and then out the middle of the back, pulled really tight. Something like face shaping but not the shaping part, just the tightness. I hope this helps! 😊
@@StrawberryBonnieCrochet Thank you! I fixed him up and he's much better now!
I was making the head of the puppy and apparently it doesn’t look like yours. I was wondering if I got the wrong pattern or if you can help please thank you.
Perhaps it's the yarn or tension that causes it to look a little different. I used the pattern that's linked in the description box. Is there any way I can help?
I think I know what happened not realizing the start of the ring is where the nose is on the pappy..?
Sorry to bother you but when you cruciate the dog did you come across say you did 42 stitches in the next couple of rows for 42 stitches and they’re always off. I was just wondering thank you.
When I was at the rows of 42 stitches I think my count was ok. I don't remember being off. I don't have notes written that I had to make any changes. If your count is off you can just increase or decrease a stitch to get the count right. If it's not a huge difference, it won't be noticeable if you have to add or subtract a few stitches. ❤I'm happy to help! @@Debrastokes-dn1my
What size hook did you use for the ones you made ? I’m in love , going out to buy my yarn. 🙂 thank you
Hi! I used an 8mm hook with bernat blanket yarn. I hope you have as much fun making your puppy as I did. I really want to do this pattern again soon. ❤️
@@StrawberryBonnieCrochetwhat size is the eye and nose

How do I get the pattern?
The pattern is linked in the description box. 🙂
hello!! the link is not working is there any other way you can post the pattern? I want to make this for my cousin's birthday
Hi! Here is the link for the blog pattern: amigurum.com/2021/01/crochet-plush-dog-free-pattern.html 🙂 I hope this helps. I went back to my video and the links seem to be working now. I hope you have as much fun making this dog as I did! ❤️
If I want to make it bigger, do I use thicker yarn and bigger hook?
Hi! It depends on how big you want it to be. 🙂 I use both a bigger hook and a thicker yarn when doing amigurumi that I'm trying to get larger. First I choose the yarn and then do a few stitches to test out which hook size works best. I hope this helps! ❤️
I was wondering what you sell your puppies for? I am making my grandson one but might make another to sell.
Hi! Depending on the yarn prices (I always try to shop sales) I sell larger amigurumis for around $40. If the pattern is super easy and I enjoy making it I go a little lower. If it's a tricky pattern for me and takes more time, I would ask around $50 or more. Everyone prices things differently based on so many factors. You do what's best for you. Hope this helps! 🙂❤️

I cant find the pattern, is there a link?
Hi! 🙂 Here is the link to the pattern: amigurum.com/2021/01/crochet-plush-dog-free-pattern.html
The written pattern is definitely off count..starting at row 8. The math does NOT WORK OUT,
Sometimes we find mistakes in patterns but I just work around it. It's not my pattern and I wonder if the designer could fix it?
Please help I can't find the pattern
