Kamansi = Breadnut, the wild seeded ancestor of breadfruit. It was carried by our Austronesian ancestors to Polynesia, where it became domesticated and seedless, becoming the breadfruit Along with jackfruit, when cooked with coconut milk, it's one of my absolute favorite dishes.
Happy2 birthday mommy Delia. Glad to see your celebrating your birthday with Mikey and RJ in mabuhay squad. Wish and pray for more God’s blessings and good health always. Mabuhay and more vlogs to look forward and the food are all yummy ❤️❤️❤️
That sprinting hustle phase vs cruising jogging phase metaphor was SOOOO GOOD! Can't wait to be in my jogging phase. Also "Advanced age" kuya, you guys aren't that old hahaha
Great episode or content … touching on some of the important things in life ~ Living healthy , taking care of our bodies. Living our best lives ❤. Love the cruisin’ phase! Reminded me of Smokey Robinson’s song 🎶 Cruisin! I’m a bit older than you guys.🤣 Anyway~~Missing the Philippines 🇵🇭. Got homesick for all the good food . I grew up partly in Philippines and (born and raised for the most part in USA) . Love that you shared some of the fruits we have back home. The Atis is a fruit to test ones patience 😂. Btw love how RJ looked at you while you took a bite of that lechon 😅 … OMG that crunch made me crave for lechon!!! Every time I watch your food episodes I make sure I have a snack to eat so di ako kawawa lol 🤣
Hello RJ ! Thank you for being not camera shy today 😀 with your hair right now you look like Joshua Garcia and Alden Richards na talaga 😊 specially when you smile. Happy birthday to your nanay Delia! ❤

All that food looked so amazing especially the cakes!! It is good you respect RJ's family for privacy, like RJ they are very quiet people, by the way I liked that T-Shirt you wearing at 3:35 !! Much love to you all! ❤
Guyabano! My father-in-law turned me on to it, it's one of the many things that grow at their home in Batangas. I was just craving that this morning, then.......there it is on your video!
Yes camansi is delicious. Hope u get to plant that too in your farm. Its becoming rare to see camansi tree, much more buy one from the market here in NCR
Love watching your vlogs, you and RJ are such lovely couple! I am a late comer to your Mabuhay Squad. Just came to know about your blogs since we watched your house reveal! 😍
your daily vlogs were part of my night routine. and at 1 point, i was obsessed with your original songs.. hope you can write some new songs , right Mabuhay Squad?!!
We call it chataigne in the Caribbean. We clean and shred the pulp, steam it and then curry. It's delicious and when it is ripe we boil the seeds with salt and eat
Those healthy microbiomes, probiotics and prebiotics are really doing well in your gut ecosystem.....you look like you are in your 20s. Great job on taking care of your body and letting it heal and recover! I am in my late 40s too and really trying to eat healthy to stay healthy 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽. God bless.
Yes , I enjoyed your today's vlog Mikey and I shared your vlogs to my siblings especially those when you feature your farm lot and brahma chickens hehe My brother is breeding roosters for cockfighting . I don't like it but I need to support him to keep him stay in cavite to help me with our mini FarmVille . Now I am introducing him to Brahma chickens and will encourage him to raise those instead of chickens for cockfighting😅
Love the fruits I missed all those we are going for 2 months vacation to phils lanzones din ang fave ko napapakain din ako ng mahusay dati wala akong appetite I like showing how you eat
Such a wonderful feast, Happy Birthday to Nanay. I can't believe i've been watching your channel for so long, even before you had Malaya. I love watching your contents. When you had Ligaya, that pushed me on getting one too. I've been wanting to get one for 5 years prior. Then when I bought one from a breeder, I too called her Ligaya. Also bought the exact same bags and toys you had for Ligaya. You would say they are twins hehehe. Anyways, please do continue making more vlogs. It always brightens my day.
Mikey! Can you please give us an update on the farm animals and crops? I miss seeing the animals! Especially would love to see Suga, Honey and their babies!! Also, all the food you eat always looks so delicious!
PH fruits are the best and i love it when guyabano is a bit sour too... but i prefer atis sweet... you are lucky to be there eating all the fruits there...😋😋😋
At home when the kamansi is ripe we just collect the seeds and boil them for like 15 to 20 minutes just put some salt to taste while the seeds are being boiled. Then after just throw the hot water and let the seeds cool down before eating them, same with jackfruit seeds we also boil it.
I absolutely love ripe kamansi. You boil the seeds and eat it (peel first) like you would a chestnut. I have not tried roasting the seeds but boiling them works great. P.S. need to get rid of the flesh and skin, wash well to remove the slime then boil boil boil. Enjoy!
Hi Mikey and Rj, i love all your vlogs. Nagutom na naman ako mga food na pinakita nyo at sa gana kumain ni Mikey 😁. I love Mikey adventurous side in trying new food. Just short info - Kamansi or breadfruit can be also cook as sweetened dessert like langka/jackfruit and the small mango is called pahutan or paho, not commercially grown but known locally/native in the Phillippines and yes i get it, namiss ko na makakain yan ulit😊.
Hi Mikey Kamansi is breadfruit in English, we used to make minatamis na Kamansi. BTW Mikey keep the seeds of all the fruits you eat and throw it in your forest to grow.
Hi Mikey and RJ yes there in Pinas is not a fast paced kind of work unlike here in North America,,, anyway i saw Arjay have some christmas decor already love it... the ball ornaments are huge ,,, why they nake better xmas decor there ... i missed having a parol and i dont know how to do it..😍😍😍😍😘😘

And yes, it's used as a vegan meat substitute, because the fibers mimic meat.
Oh wow! Interesting!!!

If you saved some seeds from the fruits that RJ's family brought; you can try growing some over there💚🌟
Love the fruits I missed all those we are going for 2 months vacation to phils lanzones din ang fave ko napapakain din ako ng mahusay dati wala akong appetite I like showing how you eat
Suggestion....scoop the custard apple's flesh with a teaspoon para hindi messy kainin
Hello when you eat atis you can use teaspoon so can get all the feeling of atis. With kamansi eat it with rice nd the small mango we call it supsupin.
This post made me so hungry 😋 ❤
Those are native mangoes so sweet when ripe love it so much
Many blessings from North Texas ❤
Try Greek yoghurt in your overnight oats instead of sugared Yakult.

The atis is the Eastern hemisphere's version of the cherimoya ang the longgan is like lanzones. I've sowed seeds of these here in the Philippines. :)
At home when the kamansi is ripe we just collect the seeds and boil them for like 15 to 20 minutes just put some salt to taste while the seeds are being boiled. Then after just throw the hot water and let the seeds cool down before eating them, same with jackfruit seeds we also boil it.

I learned how to cook kale Laing when I was watching your vlog last year when you were in US!👍👍👍😋😋😋
When people ask me , "what is my favorite Filipino food?" I say yes, haha. Laing and Bicol Express I think are the winners, though.
Great video.
Happy Birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉
Sinal-it nga Mikey, makapa apal ka balong, nangruna dayta lechon and fruits🎉
Kefir is good Mikey and without sugars or sweeteners. Maybe you can get goat kefir even in the Philippines.
Hola! Mabuhay squad!
Better alternative to yakult is milk kefir. That's what I do. Buy milk kefir grains and just ferment continuously.
I love you, mapagmahal na RJ😍😘😘😘
Hi Mikey and RJ blessed day
Teh kamansi (?) looks like the unripe langka/nangka that we put in munggo, malunggay, and pork stew.
I absolutely love ripe kamansi. You boil the seeds and eat it (peel first) like you would a chestnut. I have not tried roasting the seeds but boiling them works great. P.S. need to get rid of the flesh and skin, wash well to remove the slime then boil boil boil. Enjoy!
