Love the video! I just received some Royal Worcester egg coddlers and am amazed that I am over 50 and never heard of this!! Can’t wait to try it out. Thanks so much!! ❤️
Greetings from Irmo! I love coddled eggs but I’ve never seen those porcelain dishes. I will have to keep my eyes open for a small set in the future. Enjoyed the video!
If you’re looking for the Royal Worcester porcelain egg coddlers, look on eBay or in a lot of antique stores and shops. There are so many designs, I love collecting them. There are single egg, double, triple and quadruple egg coddlers.
Thank you for this. You have a lovely collection. I use my rounded 8 ounce Ball canning jars for my coddled eggs. But yours are really pretty. I find mine at the Goodwills, when i get a chance to do so. Do you put a little rack or a towel in the bottom of the pot so your coddlers don't crack? Or do your coddlers sit directly on the bottom of the boiling pan? Thank you.
Is there something about those coddlers compared to a custard or ramekin dish that’s different? Cuz I usually cook eggs in those dishes this way but for only maybe 4 minutes. I also cook hard boiled eggs for only 7… 13 min seems like a long long time…?
Hi Bonny! Love your video! Thanks for showing the double coddler - saw that in another video but didn't know what it was. Nice to know what these things are which I see in the thrift shops all the time! I think I'll get one for my lil ol' Uncle John (80 y/o). He'll love it! Would you please link the salt and pepper grinders in your description? (A little Amazon store would would work for you! ) I've never seen those with covers, hence my interest. I don't like eggs, either - allergic to the whites. But they are so tempting!

Can the eggs be taken out of the containers and served on a plate ? Or do the eggs stick to the containers ?
