@@ThaneGaming We got something like 20 volumes. With some jokes even "worst" than in the Kirby manga x) If it was censored, they forgot some things I guess
@ Sweet! That's not too bad, it looks like there's 56 total volumes in Japan and it's still going. Gives me a little hope for more releases here, the earlier stories are what I'm most interested in! @ I remember reading something about VIZ Media acquiring the rights to release the Kirby manga in English a decade ago but they didn't do anything with it until now...I imagine the same thing happened with Mario for some reason. Maybe they were hesitant because of the suggestive content? 😅 The US is fairly sensitive with all-ages media lol
i'm super late to the party, but i would like to point one more allusion to alcohol in the kirby series. in the dreamland 2 soundtest screen, kirby and the animal friends are seen sitting at a bar (which is probably what the super star stacker screen was referencing).
