    I've done lots of "regular" mosaic crochet but I didn't even know Tunisian Mosaic crochet existed until now! This rock I've been under was heavy! 😂 This is phenomenal!

    I did some Tunisian crochet years ago, and recently found your Priya Mosaic Scarf pattern. We did a complicated mosaic crochet pattern on a recent course, and so I thought I’d try your free pattern. So much more enjoyable to do!!! I’m loving how it is coming out, and enjoying the process. Thank you for your oh so clear written instructions. I’d send you a photo but can’t attach one here! :-) Thank you, and Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you. 🙏💖🙏

    Never done Tunisian Crochet! Someone on a Facebook Crochet group recommend you, she made a mosaic crochet blanket using the Tunisian method. I am so impressed with your videos! So here I go learning something new! 🥰🧶🦒

    Do you have any solutions for locking the Tss between the rows on an extended stitch so you don't get flaps/ridges? these would be the same flaps/ridges you get in overlay if you don't anchor the BLO SC when you do the MDC

      I don't but someone in my facebook group (KnitterKnotter Hangout) created a tutorial for it and share it there.

    I crochet but never tried mosaic crochet. I fell upon this tutorial as I was looking for a video that would explain the difference between mosaic crochet and Tunisian mosaic crochet. Can you explain the difference? As a beginner in mosaic is Tunisian the best place to start?

      Mosaic crochet can be done in both traditional crochet and Tunisian crochet. In traditional crochet, you typically crochet one row, cut the yarn, and start the next row with a new strand. However, in Tunisian crochet, you don't need to cut and rejoin after every row.
      For flat projects worked in rows, Tunisian crochet might be a better choice, while traditional crochet might be more suitable for center-out (in the round) projects.
      Ultimately, the choice is yours. I recommend trying Tunisian crochet as it reduces the number of ends to weave in and eliminates the need for an envelope border.

    How do I make the etss over the etss of another color?

    • @KnitterKnotter
      @KnitterKnotter  16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You won't be able to create an etss over another etss. If you have a chart or a pattern that requires you to do that then it isn't following the rules of a mosaic pattern and cannot be used as such.

    When I did this I ended up with my extended stitches slanting diagonally towards the left. Is there some reason I may be encountering this?

      It is hard to say what might be going on without looking at your swatch. Could you please send me a picture - arunima@knitterknotter.com.

      @@KnitterKnotter yes that’s it! Thank you so much. I’ve signed up for your newsletter. I am behind bc this is a very new technique for me since I’ve never tried Tunisian crochet. I did overlay mosaic. I don’t even understand the terminology of Tunisian but you’ve done a great job explaining in the newsletter.
      Thanks again. I look forward to learning this no end tails on the sides 🥰

      @@elainef.rogers2148 perfect! I hope you will enjoy this technique! It does take some practice but since it is just two stitches, you should be able to pick it up easily :)
