Thanks for the video. I love both Tunisian and mosaic. I'm catching this a year after your posting. Hope to see more Tunisian mosaic patterns for lapghans or blankets.
What an amazing teacher. I like that you remembered to go slow for the learners. So glad I found your channel I just picked up Tunisian crochet and I was having a slight learning curve maneuvering such a large hook.
Thank you for sharing this! Love this wavy pattern. I particular like how at 9:05(ish) you tell us how to read the fabric to know which kind of stitch is worked into the kind of stitch (I guess it's technically two rows below because of the row of straight Tss). Really helpful, thank you!
Hi ELLEN A GOOD LEARN STITCH...MY DOGGIE PASSED AWAY MID MARCH...SHE WAS 14...DOING BETTER NOW....PLEASE GIVE HOBI AND BOTH KITT CAT'S HUGS....HAPPY CROCHET
Good morning, Ellen! This is so pretty! I can see some of these for Christmas gifts - I like to get an early start! Brat extends greetings to the Gormley pets! 😺☺️😻❤️
I’ve done Tunisian crochet once and really enjoy it. Have been wanting to try mosaic crochet, but haven’t yet. Love this combo and will definitely give it a try. Thanks! Your tutorials are always so easy to follow.🧶❤️
Love this! It's a goal of mine to do mosaic crochet and especially in Tunisian. I love it! I love your helpful tutorials! (I am just now catching up on all of your videos) I'm looking forward to trying your Entrelac tutorial. Thank you so much for all of the help and sharing!
Excellent. Would make a beautiful dishcloth! How would you bind off? What border would you suggest? Can you jot down the pattern please? Thank you so very much.
I single crocheted in pattern across the top with the first color. I'll work on the pattern in the description box or adding captions to the video. Thanks!
Question about the pattern at 10:18(ish) where we end with a Tdc? Earlier in the video you said that the lower height of the pattern was Tss, sl, sl, Tss so I had expected that we'd end with a Tss (to keep it symmetric with how the next row starts?)
Hi, Thanks for your question. I was not on my A game for this video. I'm sorry. I'll add the instruction in below the video but also here for your convenience: With Color A: Ch 26 (multiple of 8 plus 2) R1 Fwd: Pull up a loop in the second chain from hook and in each chain across. R1 Rtn Pass: Yo, pull through one loop on hook, *yo, pull through two loops on hook; rep from * across. On the final yarn over and pull through, yarn and over and pull through with Color B. R2 Fwd: Skip first vertical bar, *Tunisian slip each of the next 2 vertical bars, tss in next st, tdc in each of next 4 sts, tss in next st; rep from * across, tss in last st. R2 Rtn: Same as R1 Rtn pass, changing to Color A with the final yarn over and pull through. R3 Fwd: Skip first vertical bar. Tss in each st across. R3 Rtn: Same as R1 Rtn Pass, changing to Color B with the final yarn over and pull through. R4 Fwd: Skip first vertical bar, ch 2, Tdc in each of next 3 sts, *tss in next, Tunisian slip in each of the next 2 sts, tss in next, ** tdc in each of next 4 sts; rep from * across ending last rep at ** tdc in each of last 2 remaining stitches. R4 Rtn: Same as R1 Rtn Pass, changing to Color A with the final yarn over and pull through. R5 Fwd: Same as Row 3. R5 Rtn: Same as R1 Rtn Pass. Final Row: Sc in pattern across. (Sc in each stitch by inserting the hook as if to Tunisian simple stitch
@@EllenGormleyCrochet I think TH-cam did something weird with the instructions here, but the ones below the video look good. I don't have hook and yarn with me, but I sketched out a chart and it looks good. Thank you!
Super cool. Thank you!!!❤

Very interesting stitch pattern. I thought for sure that we would need to use a double hook. I really like this pattern. Thank you.
You are so welcome!
