If you like fast paced FPS you're doing yourself a disservice by not at least trying this one. The last few years did innovate, they don't get credit for. @@alexsilva28 See that's the thing. Developers and other wagies really don't need to be given the blame here. It's never a problem on the tech side of things. Sure, that might be a criticism you can level at indie developers, working in a basement with nothing but a bit of string and sheer determination... But for these massive publishers, sucking up all the life from the industry? These giants swallowing other developers whole, then either spitting them back out a shade of what they used to be or holding on to these studios permanently for no discernible reason other than "elimination of the competition"? The problem simply lies with how capitalism works. Monopolies are formed, old ceo leaves along with the entire creative team other than the people desperate for work, studio gets sold to some careless, witless stock market billionaire cunt that already owns 569 other companies, they tell the studio to fire half their employees and do the same tasks they used to do at double the speed and twice profits, see that profits are dependent on live service gambling trash we call "lootboxes" or other parasitic practicies, and witness that making a good game is no longer even remotely neccesary. So long as the legions upon legions of normie COD players refuse to actually use their money wisely, these companies will keep making money. You know what the sad thing is? Even if people WOULD use their money more wisely, the publishers and suits at the top wouldn't see that as a reason for making better and more competitive games. They would say "people just don't play singleplayer games anymore", fire the creative team for the decisions THEY, THE PUBLISHER, made, hire some new CEO who has another spiel about how HE will fix all the problems, they will double down on the parasitic crap, and the cycle repeats until the publisher just decides the studio no longer exists and an IP gets permanently shelfed. This has happened more times than you or I can count and will keep happening so long as stock market "free" trade capitalism exists. The only alternative is actually starting up your own indie studio and relying on quality creativity and good word of mouth to actually allow you to make some money. This is simple reality. We can laugh at the COD publishers all we want, but they're the ones raking in the profits because of player loyalty, gullibility, and addiction. So stop spending your money on trash? Sure, but don't expect this to change anything.
I was actually considering getting this game out of a random impulse to just play CoD again for the first time in years, but this video gave me pause. Dunkey actually saved me money today

@@neonhalosno you cant. You purchase the disc then you have to download all the same BS u have on PC. And guess what? You cant play the game without the disc in the counsel even though the game’s taking up 250GB of your storage.
@KillerRatedM try disconnecting your console from the internet before putting a new game in. that'll prevent a bunch of bs from being downloaded. but the reason why shit can't be read off discs anymore to actually play off of is because they cannot physically spin any faster to load a game the way people expect it to be played. it's a limitation of the media. if you spin a disc beyond a certain threshold to get it to feed the data needed to play at 4K 60FPS, for example, the disc would either warp or shatter or the mechanical pieces in the console would wear out insanely fast. it was going to happen with interactive CD media sooner or later. it's not just a Blu-ray movie you sit back and let rip, you're affecting what happens in the game, meaning the disc would need to be constantly spinning at an absurd speed. So yeah, you do have to install shit and that sucks. but I'd rather do that and have the physical media than rely on intangible media.

A quarter of a terabyte for the same crappy fps game as it was back in bo2 is insane. They must have the most unoptimized spaghetti code for it to be this big. By bo8 this shit is gonna be like 800GB.
That includes Modern Warfare 3, Warzone, and the Campaign for it, if you own it already. It downloads both apparently. I downloaded that 300GB for no reason when Black Ops 6 itself is only 100.
Microsoft literally owns Activision now so I played it through game pass on PC and yet you still need to launch the COD HQ, preload the shaders (after installing the update for the last COD of course and restarting), then select COD BO6, select your mode campaign, multiplayer or zombies, if you would like to play campaign, you will then be directed that the game is now launching BO6, the message will inevitably show that there was an issue with BO6 last time so would you like safe settings for this launch. After selecting no the game will launch and the shaders will begin pre loading but WAIT an update requires restart, at which point the application you originally wished to play will shut down and then after about 20 or so seconds, the game will somehow identify which game in the COD series I actually wanted to launch but couldn't myself and relaunch it at which point you can finally play campaign, after waiting 5 mins for the shaders to download this time. 10/10 time well spent
That’s all part of the prologue. It’s designed to help you build sympathy for soldiers who have to increasingly rely on buggy technologically infused gadgetry in order to conduct warfare.

Call of Duty 38 looks great! They really innovated with this one.
They actually did. The omnimovement is so so good
They actually did though. Omni Movement is pretty innovative and fun. IDK any other game where someone can be chasing you and you can sprint backwards ready to pop them as they chase round the corner. Its fun to sprint slide to evade or pop out of cover, or dolphin dive sideways. They have some new perks that shake things up too in new fun ways like covert operative which makes you appear as a friend to the enemy team, or the threat sensor that marks you on the map but you get more score for kills. If you like fast paced FPS you're doing yourself a disservice by not at least trying this one.
The last few years did innovate, they don't get credit for. Dynamic doors in 2019, the drill charge equipment. No other game really did these things like this and so well and seamless...

TeamS, plural.
