► WHO AM I?
I am a Brazilian-American journalist living in Florida. After traveling the world working with sports, news, and events for over 15 years, I realized that what I really love is the travel part of it all. So I exchanged life in the newsrooms and stadiums for the daily challenge of being an independent content producer. I created this channel to share the beauties of the world... stuff that for so long I only kept to myself. Also to help people planning similar trips and to inspire more people to venture out and enjoy life!
P.S.: The funny guy who appears in the vlogs is my husband, Gordon. He is Canadian-American and he's actually camera-shy, that's why he's behind the camera most of the time 😉

Here's our new city: Orlando, Florida! If you haven't seen in my stories, we just moved to Orlando and this is our new home 😍. Orlando is the city of Disney World, Universal Studios, etc. We've been coming here for many years and already know the city well, that's why I thought that for my first video as a resident I could give a general explanation about the city. Orlando was the first trip I ever took (for Disney of course!) and it’s so warm and welcoming! I’ll never forget the super long drive from the airport to my hotel near the Disney resort 😂

I lived there at McCoy AFB back in the late 1960s. Saw Disney World when it first opened and I remember Busch Gardens in Tampa with fondness. Very interesting to see how everything has changed around Orlando, even the Air Force base (now an airport).

Yes, hot and humid a big part of the year. Its where all the snowbirds (those from the north avoiding winter cold) visit during the winter months.

Orlando is as beautiful in the video as it is in a magazine! It's also nice to see there are many theme parks there. That would be perfect for my young daughter to visit. We are more interested in Universal Studios than Disney because we suspect the set-up there is probably a lot more varied in terms of rides than in Singapore. Also, there are more thana couple of Disney parks in our region already (we visited HK twice, and soon in.Tokyo--- when pandemic subsides). I love your open outlook on travel, 'coz it makes your videos exceptionally exciting. Finally, my family is pretty sure we can handle the heat and alligators in Florida for a week no problem given our extensive e experience here in Bangkok.
