- Singapore airport (Changi airport) is always ranked the best in the world and now you'll see why. Changi is actually an entertainment center with the Jewel (indoor waterfall) as the main attraction. The Jewel is already beautiful during the day, but at night, with the light show, it gets even more impressive. But there are many more things you can do at the Singapore airport that will make your travel experience unique: enjoying a pool, playing games and watching movies for free, more options to shop tax-free, and spending the night at a hotel inside the Jewel.
In Singapore, it's worth arriving at Changi airport way before your flight.

Renata somehow you have to visit my Hero City at Surabaya, which lies at East-Java province. We have more than 479 green shady parks here, the most park in Indonesia. Everything is green and clean, because our mayor is a strict woman and she is welknown in the world.💚💚💚💚💚

I was here for Thanksgiving of 2019 and it was amazing I went three times on my third try I seen everything. They have a pool they have a movie theater they have everything there love this airport. Nothing like it any place else in the world. The country Singapore the people are the best.

It really is a world class airport
What an amazing airport. I've been there just once but this is just before this incredible waterfall opened. My two memories of flying in to Singapore is seeing so many ships in the harbour when flying over and the carpet colour in the terminal. Beautifully presented as always Renata! I really can't wait to see the Indonesia series. I think your subscribers are going to shoot up even faster during the upcoming series.

Hi Renata, I've always enjoyed your videos. They are very well done. I haven't been inside the Changi airport for a number of years (usually just for a 1-2 hours transit) and I am just shocked to see how much it has changed. It has always been a world class airport and now they've certainly step up further.

As a local, I used to visit every weekend. Now Singapore is in lock down. The waterfall at Jewel is shut down at the moment 😭. Glad you made it to Jewel Renata. Stay safe😀

Changi Airport is absolutely the best airport in the world. And I’m not only saying this because I’m from Singapore but I have been in transit via more than 200 airports and the design of Changi is the only one that considers humanising the transit experience. Most airports are so badly designed (the worst being JFK in New York... what’s up with charging $5 to use a stupid short tram ride... wtf man) that spending every minute in them is torture. I love Changi and I am happy they are going to expand the airport with a new terminal and a new runway. Go Changi!
New terminal and new runway? Yes all airports should aspire to Changi...problem being other airports probably have to tear down to start over. JFK....New Yorkers could beat your description/expletive 👍😂
@@RenataPereiraTV Yes. Terminal 5 is in progress as we speak. It is designed by a British designer (I hesitate to call him an architect.... another story for another time) Thomas Heatherwick. I am looking forward to it. As you can already detect, I am a fan of the airport. It has to do with a childhood memory. Believe it or not, my parents brought me there on the opening day of Changi Airport in the 80s. When I was very young, and I will always remember that day as a celebration.

Thank you, Renata, another excellent video and Gordon, you are too laid back to the extent that you appeared to be disinterested in everything. Pity you missed those wonderful Michelin star restaurant, not that I use that as a guide, but I visited a Roast Chinese restaurant and the roast duck was wonderful and really enjoyed my meals there. Really great airport to spend sometime if you have to as it is better than some drab airport like the one at Bandar Seri Begawan. Stay safe and love your content. Pity you did not visit the Portuguese Settlement in Malacca, maybe next time.

Temos aqui aquele famoso KOMODO dragão, Parque Nacional de Komodo, Tres coloridos lagoas, as praias bonita e muito mais. A ilha linda cheia de flores descobriu pelos portugueses que tinha ligação com Malaka em Malaysia e Goa na India.

to me singapore is the best, everything in order, so clean , the road all smooth, a good managed city, modern ... but, its not friendly when it comes to living cost, serious people, interrogative officer, and dont know why, its quite boring for a long stay...
It is a world class city. As for the cost, a result of being so popular and wealthy...can we say too successful? Boring you say? Well is is close to some great diverse destinations....MY, ID, TH, and further out. Thank you for watching..we will return and see more of Singapore in the future

Bottom line: Since there's pretty much no natural beauty in Singapore and it's tiny (you can put the whole country within Los Angeles) the Singaporeans have no choice but do their very very very best to make their country look interesting and worth visiting. Hence all these man-made beauties.
Yes, being such a small country and trying to create jobs for people they have made it a destination worthy of visiting multiple times. They have planned and delivered well.

Definitely NOT three weeks ago - this airport is absolutely locked down. I have been through this airport a few times but it’s not actually that great. Firstly a lot of the attractions you can only see before you get into checkin so a total waist if you in transit. NO helpful staff anywhere to be found, walk around lost most of the time, don’t expect too much, you will be very disappointed. Total hype for nothing, it’s only great in video.
