These things are much better than you expect them to be, I was with Billy and Jay when they crawled over wet rocks recently and it surprised us all. Element are certainly a brand to keep an eye on for crawlers 👍
I got my son the Trailwalker and it crawled phenomenally right out of the box. He was able to to run the same lines that I ran with my Gen 1 SCX10 with no problem. Team Associated built a rock solid and capable trail truck.

The only thing this beast needs aftermarket is bigger tires. Upgrading to 4.19 tires made all the difference in the world when it comes to it's crawling capabilities and for me personally, when I get my new Gladiator body painted I am going to step up again to 4.75s. Happy trailing!

I've also thought about getting a gatekeeper and making it a bouncer but the width is a bit narrow and I'm not sure. But then I see this truck and I get ideas for a dessert runner. Ugh so many toys and not enough money. lol

Yes Lucas is correct... I have a full time job (Aircraft Electrician/Avionics). This is my Side Hustle and pays for itself... along with companies sending me products to review. It took about 2yrs to start getting anything out of it... so not an overnight thing 😎👍

That box on the inside is cool. Too bad the outside didn't look like a garage on the outside with a sleeve for all the box info. I like powerful and fast trucks/buggies so i never was into crawlers but for some reason when they look scale they look really cool and something that would be cool to collect but i dont get why they cost so much with understandably weak electronics and a small scale rc.
Love the IFS, looks and performs great but that body is abominable with those windows all etched up , nothing at this price point should ever do that to windows IMO, thanks for a great run and unboxing video 👍👍💪💪👀👀
I really love the IFS on the Element, and their Gearbox is top notch. The GEO I think wins on its performance. Tough choice, I’d probably get an Element if I could only chose 1
I still think my TRX-4 Defender is the best trail truck if not crawler. Watch my contents in my channel. It's my fav RC truck, I don't need to go bashing or extreme rock crawling but I can take it on any trips I go to. It has a very solid platform very good chassis if not the best. Great turning radius, great suspension, excellent 2 speed tranny put it on high gear unlock diffs on flat trails it's great! I know someday Traxxas needs a new version or update of the TRX-4 and Sport. Put like great electronics and servo on it like what Redcat did with the Gen 8 Axe edition, and maybe even an IFS version like this Enduro. I love my TRX-4 and Summit great trucks great innovation but there are other great brands too. Win for all RC owners.
@@TomleyRC from what I’ve read shorties are better because less added weight = better crawling, but I also want to be able to be out on the trails for several hours and the larger packs tend to have higher runtimes. Do they make like 6000 mah short packs?
My local hobby shop has the orange version and it performs fairly well on their indoor comp crawler course which really surprised me as it looks like it it was more built for trail use. The only upgrade they did was wheels and tires. I looked at the gatekeeper many times but still unsure on it until I see 1 in person,lol

@@TomleyRC nice, I got one of those cheap 60 turn motors off amazon the other day to try and get an a959 to go fast on low rpm with high gearing but after finding out 2s is only going to give me around 6800 rpm I think iv'e over thought this 😅 I'm new with electric but having fun and definitely less hassle than Nitro's thanks for the vids Tom 👍
Cant believe I missed this vid...Omg that thing is beautiful and pretty scale! ...I still want that blue FJ lol 😏...and that F450...but that is super, super sharp! I'd mod the lug nuts off that thing, then shelf it so it wouldn't get dirty. 😎👍
Great vid, Element RC is lacking publicity compared to Axial and FTX here in the UK so great to see you reviewing some. Not a huge fan of the body, just lacks a bit of realism for me. It would be good to see what the Sendero HD goes like, probably the best looking vehicle in their lineup.
Samix makes some awesome brass parts for the element enduros...they’re scale rotors and brakes are awesome too....I have the original element enduro and a custom gatekeeper....

It does have clear windows under the decals I believe... think they did the decals so you're not looking at the electronics etc.

Looks good and great video. Only issue I could see was the ground clearance didn’t look great, but larger wheels / tyres could improve that.

Depends if you want to use ‘shorties’ or normal ones. Bit high ‘mah’ for better run time

Nice. I’m half done building the gatekeeper at the moment. High quality stuff, but the instructions for the kit could use some improvement.

Limited turns on that motor, was the torque ok? It looked like it had some wheel speed but sounded like it was struggling.
Torque seemed pretty decent, it’s not really a heavy truck. I’ll be changing over to a Hobbywing Axe system... so plenty of torque to come!

Right off the bat, its clear the tires and wheels are too small.
I think some 2.2" wheels and Super Swampers would be pretty sweet.

It is a pretty solid vehicle, might look a little better if they had licensed the Toyota body, but that keeps the cost down.
