Not only is Will To Power album of the year, but it's the best Arch Enemy album. Genuinely one of the best melodic death metal albums I've ever heard. Perfection.
The album songs are SUPERIOR to the youtube songs/singles. All spectacular hits and worth every penny. "A Fight I Must Win", "Reason to Believe", "Dreams of Retribution", "Murder Scene", "Blood in the Waters". This band is going to be incredibly famous in the next few years. I am obsessed with "A fight I must win" and "reason to believe".

This album is just amazing, I can't even decide which song is my favorite... the whole thing is bloody perfect!! The guitars, drums, the orchest's appearence is insane.. and of course the vocals just blows my mind! MASTER PIECE, congratulations Arch Enemy. To me WILL TO POWER is your best work ;)
The clean vocals are amazing too. They could be bigger than Evanescence (I don't care if anyone thinks I'm being sacrilegious to metal). A Fight I must win is so metal and amazing.
they work better than I thought they would. I wouldn't want anymore clean vocals than this though. I'm not really a fan of Alissa's clean vox. Well, she kills it on this record, but I really dislike her vocals in The Agonist. But hey, they're gonna do what they're gonna do, more power to 'em! Will to Power fucking slays!!!

I have to agree there. With Loomis in the band now I kind of expected a few more high energy solos. A bit disappointing in that regard, but otherwise, amazing album.

This album has been average to me at first. I liked the experimental aspects of it but would really hope they'd let Jeff write. This album has grown on me over time . Seen them in Glasgow recently and loved it even more after 😋

I view it as an experiment to see how well clean singing would be received, and I agree about it being an amazing track. Hopefully it has provided us with Reason To Believe in the possibility of clean vocals having more of a presence in their future albums!
How did Jeff Loomis help? Michael Amott didn't really let Jeff Loomis do any writing. It was like Loomis was just handed the music sheet and was told to play. I find this album very mediocre. Nothing compared to Burning Bridges and Wages of Sin.
Sad story.. I lsiten to the Album now the 10th time today and I can hear only 0.5% old-school swedisch Melodic Death metal influence. there is NO big influence as he said. The new Album has Arch-Enemy Oldschool feelings riffs and thats it I can hear shit out of old-school scandinavia riffs. I begin with Classics for example: Dissection Dark Tranquility Gates Of Ishtar A Canorous Quintet Unanimated etc.
You can't be that hot in metal. Here I am listening to this new arch enemy, the same shit it's been for 15 years, but all I can think is how hot she is. Never had this problem listening to metal, not cool.😐
