Pretty sure Phil wants us to think that he understands Street fighter 6 more than he actually does.
He again rambled wrong about option select, so yeah.
That and he constantly talks about 360 as if he can just do it during any gap and it should work. It has 5 frames of startup, no invincibility of any form during that. It's not 1f like in SF2, but he only understands what worked in that game, so he has no idea about mechanics in modern games.

He’s the only fighting game player I ever hear saying “rewarded”, it’s really telling of his upbringing, like Linda probably had some stupid good boy point system for him or something.

Risk/reward is a real concept in fighting games, but "reward" is often regarded (lol) as a positive situation. DSP sees it as a bad thing (when it hurts him).

Funny that he was barely holding his own with the lag. When the lag was "turned off" his moves were coming out perfectly and he was supposedly doing great again. But now that he's not doing great, it's because he's been training with the lag. Very odd that no matter what he does to fix the technical issues, he still manages to suck...

I'm no fighting game expert, but you should probably try something.
I never understand this complaint. I think it's supposed to mean "I wasn't attacking, only blocking, so X shouldn't have happened." But even then, there are some instances where he's literally just standing there not moving, no action, gets hit, and says, "I wasn't doing anything!" No, you weren't, which is why you got hit, dummy.
The game should play itself when he enters no inputs. You guys aren't ready to talk about the corruption at capcom though. . .
I’ll translate pig speech here. When it says he’s not doing anything, he is saying he’s blocking. Problem is looking through replays makes it very clear he’s full of hogwash

Btw if you wanna know what happened in the first clip, Gief has i-frames on that specific move however, the move never actually connected with Akuma. Bad spacing is what got him punished not lag. Skill issue of the highest order

Don’t get me wrong we can all rage at games, but man this guy takes the crown.
"my timing is off because i played in lag" AS someone who grew up with legit dial up internet and a bad pc i had 10-15fps in games. When i got my first pc that was better it did not take me multiple streams to get used to not having lag, is happened in the first 1-2h of playing.
i want someone to go into his chat and talk about how "the Jab META" is superior, i think he'd get literal steam out of his ears
