I’m here in NC, but all my family will vote for Trump. TRUMP 2024
I am from NC born and bred and most people do support trump. Asheville, and Charlotte are mainly liberals. Most NC natives prefer conservative. People who move here from liberal states like NY and CA are the ones voting blue. This frustrates many native North Carolinians, especially rural ones who cant live as well because the out of staters move here making things more expensive. which is why we dislike them coming here. You can even tell some of the accents in the people who said they are from NC arent NC accents.

and then have the audacity to come down here and they ruin the trees and nature so they can have apt buildings bc they arent used to trees in the concrete jungle of nyc. I saw someone take down an oak that was precious to the neighborhood because they just didnt like how it looked. Then put up concrete walls. My anger for transplants really started that day.

You should go to Virginia. With recent early voting numbers and the polls, it’s now considered a swing state.

I live in North Carolina, and it is now full of Northerners. Many have brought their voting values with them. The same values that forced them to move here in the first place. Because now many can't afford to live there because of the high taxes etc. thanks to the people they elected in.

NC has become more blue bc of some many transplants and halfbacks here. So many new ppl have moved here. The ones who are fleeing the democrats policies they voted for and are still voting the same way. It’s infuriating. If you move to a new place you should adopt the way of life.

I live in Charlotte. I went to both Trump’s and Kamala’s rallies this summer. Trump had easily double the crowd even in this blue city.

It’s a very poor take, because the gentlemen that has run businesses has bankrupted each and every one of them. Im viting for Kamala. She is promising 30% of government contracts to go to small businesses, im assuming the 3 million new homes goal will be some of those contracts which means we will be cycling our tax paying dollars back into the communities.

It's a nice city but there's like literally nothing to do in downtown Charlotte...no museums, no shopping, no sights....just office buildings & restaurants. I was also surprised how many tourists there were down there.
Just her capital gains taxes that would eliminate most products they enjoy on a daily basis.
Better to do one polling in one area then to another polling in another area. One section big the state especially Democrats dominated area does NOT even nearly represent how the people of the state are going to vote.

When you go to city centers, you don't talk to a cross section of the community. Find where the busy grocery stores are in ordinary middle class neighborhoods. Lived in NC all my life. Slowly have seen the state become more blue, more crime ridden in the cities. More Democrats elected to office. So many more problems than there was 20 years to 16 years ago. I will say that Republicans have been pretty awful too. Need the new wave of young and middle aged MAGA republicans to win seats instead of the RINOs.
