  • I was lucky enough to buy the Olight Warrior X Pro at midnight the night the orders went live on the Olight website. I grabbed the OD green Limited Edition bundle with the I5T light. OD Green was limited to only 5000 so if you didn't get one, they're gone for good. The only way you'll find one now is second hand or ebay.
    The Olight Warrior X Pro has a max output of 2250 lumens on high, and 300 lumens on low. It can throw light up to 600 meters and is drop tested up to 3 meters. The upgraded MCC3 magnetic charger has a 2A current for fast charging comes with a 21700 5000mah 3.6v battery!
    More from the Olight site:
    The Warrior X Pro is the upgraded version of Olight’s revolutionary Warrior X. Using an updated high discharge 5000mAh 21700 lithium battery, the Warrior X Pro is capable of producing a maximum of 2,250 lumens for up to 600 meters of throw and delivering a 2A current for 100% faster charging than Warrior X. While retaining the classic features of the Warrior X's sturdy, aggressive appearance, as well as the vibration battery indicator, silicone tactical ring and optional magnetic remote switch, the Warrior X Pro features a redesigned raised tail switch for an unprecedented intuitive operation experience. The IPX8-rated aluminum alloy body sports a pronounced knurling pattern for a better grip. With unbeatable performance and indestructible build, the Warrior X Pro is ideal for the professional choice of hunting, search and rescue, or while on duty.
    (1) Using a customized 5000mAh 21700 lithium battery, the Warrior X Pro produces an incredible 2,250-lumen output and 600-meter throw allowing you to see in any harsh situation.
    (2) The redesigned raised tactical tail switch comes with stronger magnetism, and aggressive body knurling for a firmer grip, giving you a simpler interface and operation experience than ever.
    (3) Quickly get back in action with the super-efficient MCC3 charging cable which holds 2A current for 100% doubled faster charging than Warrior X.
    (4) Sturdy Heavy-duty build with a thick IPX8-rated aluminum alloy body, making it tough enough to endure a harsh 3-meter drop test.
    (5) All tactical classics in one: vibration battery indicator, silicone tactical ring, etc. Just feel the sensation of absolute robustness in your hand.

    What do you think of the new Warrior X Pro? Are you going to upgrade from the Warrior X?

    • @donaldstrader7241

      I like it, especially in OD Green. :-) I also like the magnetic secured flap holster. It may not be quite as secure as buckle version, but it is so convenient. I may move a bit but the Seeker 2 Pro also fits. :-) Very impressive and useful is the 300 lumens for 8 hours.
      I do not miss the strobe, but think they should have kept the momentary only function accessible by twisting the tail cap while holding the button. I know some persons that will not buy a shooting/tactical flashlight that does not have a momentary only function. Not a big issue for me; if I mistakenly turn it on rather than momentary, highlighting myself is probably not going to be a problem. I like the way they have it now, but would have keep the momentary only option.
      I would be interested in a ramping (a few steps would be OK) momentary only function. Considering the neutral white beams and great throw, I actually would like a utility version of the Warrior X Pro. Perhaps a split tail cap or side button on an accessory tail cap. One can dream. ;-) One last note, the traffic wands that fit the Seeker 2 Pro and Warrior X do not fit the Warrior X Pro. The ones I have that fit the R50 Seeker Pro also fit the Warrior X Pro. A compatibility table by Olight of traffic wands and filters would be nice.

      If I like it I like it. Also I pick and choose what I review and if something sucks, I usually leave it alone. I’m not going to fake disliking something just for variety or views. I did a video on the Magbak wallet that I absolutely hated. Called it possibly the worst wallet on the market. So I guess it’s not out of the realm of possibilities.
      Thanks for the advice about saying which I prefer. I’ve done that on some wallet reviews in the past but not always.

    I really like my green one, ran it through several complete charges and works as it should, nice beam at night, very well made, 5 year warranty, it feels tough enough to hang with me. Got the bundle with the 5T plus bought the keyring 1R and they threw a free one in also for spending $109 or more so I received 4 lights for a good price with free shipping, can't beat that.

A couple of things--I want a big bigger of a light. 5-6 inches is no problem since I have huge hands. Secondly, I am NOT as interested in crazy long distances or a crazy hot spot. I want shorter range FLOOD.

    Won't lie, it strikes me as odd that it would glow in the dark on a tactical light, considering it would seem to give away your location easier in an otherwise dark environment.

    • @ChrispyThings
      @ChrispyThings  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      True. The glow doesn’t last long but I guess you’re right.

      Michael Buckley Lol as if you’re going to be in a war zone anytime soon genius.

    • @MichaelBuckley284
      @MichaelBuckley284 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      For one person it may just be a handheld torch, for the next a hunting light, and maybe for another a weapon light to scan their property for potential threat. Though the glow would hardly be noticable, it is a feature that I may have skipped on a tactically marketed light. Considering that one of the marketing points of the light is a vibrating motor instead of an led light indicator, such as on the m2r warrior line, because it helps avoid giving away your location (in Olight's expressed intent).

    • @buckoff006
      @buckoff006 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Isn't it designed for police or search and rescue? If military were using anything in a covert op they'd be using IR light and NV nods.

    • @FrowningIke
      @FrowningIke 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      "Tactical" is a marketing ploy to get wannabe military types to buy it. It's a great flashlight but special forces aren't going to be using it.

  • @jamesk2458
    @jamesk2458 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Have you had problems charging the light with the tactical grip ring? I swapped the ring and it wouldn’t charge. The ring seems to set too high, not leaving enough clearance for the tailcap to fit snug enough. The charge indicator shows green and not red - I did this side by side with another Warrior X Pro with the metal ring on it, and that one charges as expected.

    • @ChrispyThings
      @ChrispyThings  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly I never use the TGR. So i haven’t tried to charge it while it’s on.
      I could try it and get back to you though.

    • @jamesk2458
      @jamesk2458 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chrispy Things thanks, but no worries! I found it a pain to swap the TGR due to the two o-rings. Have you noticed the battery rattle? Wonder if there’s a spacer available to minimize it?

    • @ChrispyThings
      @ChrispyThings  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not at all. Hmmm. Maybe you just received a dud? Can anyone else confirm that this happens with their light?

    • @jamesk2458
      @jamesk2458 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chrispy Things hopefully not but I’ll have to compare to the other light and see if the same problem occurs.

    • @jamesk2458
      @jamesk2458 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      **Read the manual and it specifically states to remove an o-ring and it goes between the TGR and tailcap. Feeling silly about missing that detail!

    I have a doubt if the included charger breaks down could I use a generic one like this ?:

    Is that seeing the black ring in the battery I do not know if it would work or not make contact.
    On the other hand in my country it is difficult to find the charging MCC3 at 2 amps.
    Does the Warrior X Pro work with the MCC1 or MMC2 like these ?:

    or
