This is so beautiful and true. I have the privilege to talk everyday to kids that are coming from south America and one of the questions on our Intake is: Are sick or been sick of anything? Their response is always no. Another question is: Where do you worked in your Home Country. Their answer is. We are farmers and we all work for our own food, we don’t buy food, we plant corn, beans, vegetables and no we do not use pesticides because we can’t buy them.

Thank you for this episode. Thank you for them all, but this one touched me, deeply. The end made me tear up, especially about the Greeks and the onion. As a Greek myself, it touched me. Much valuable information here. Thank you! We must be better.

I love all of your podcasts but this one really hit home. When he said the problem isn’t sugar and fat, it’s glyphosate, a light bulb went on. I’m now trying to figure out how to get that out of my diet, not the easiest to do! Thank you Shawn & Zach. Also, Indiana is NOT on the Mississippi River, just FYI.

Great interview. As a child, I loved making mud pies and playing in the woods. As an adult, I love putting my feet in a running stream, hugging a tree, laying on the grass or putting my hands in the soil. Now I know why this matters so much. Thank you. ❤️ 🌳 💦

Is there equal and correlative evidence in nature? Do deer exhibit obesity in the same way, for example, since they consume much of the crop sources humans do?

Lets not forget God who gave us all the vegetables, fruits, and everything else that gives us the potential to heal our God given bodys. Lets be grateful to God. Remember God did not give us fruits without seeds therefore seedless fruits will cause disease.Blessings

Only 25 minutes in, but I totally see the need for more ruminant grazing on our farmlands to help the topsoil 🥺
One regenerant farmer I heard of sends chickens into where the cattle had been, 3 days later, to eat the maggots, & break up all the cow pies. They, in turn, add more nutrients to the soil, fertilizing the grass that the cattle need to eat.
I wish we had the millions of Buffalo back. They were how the great plains were so fertile 😁
Roundup is just plain evil ..... Reminds me of the problems we had with DDT 😢

Selective herbicides all seem to have effects across the whole sward as a very clear for a couple of grazing rounds. In the soil few scientists seem to care. Chemical Data sheets may say high motility, and slow break down. that may well be whatever that means?

The problem is that if you say pleasure for food people will only go for taste and beautifully displayed. That is what we are going for now. We need to learn nutritional value and locally grown in good soils. Tasting good och less tasty it’s the nutritional value we should thrive for.

One piece. Chemicals are concentrates. Poison is in the dose. Just like fruit is fine to eat, fruit juice is not- its one part, concentrated. Heat that juice and dry the crystal sugar is left. Further concentrated, and worse for your system. Fatty food to oil to jet fuel.

interesting but how do we know the degree to which this is a contributing factor to mitochondrial poisoning, would love to hear how bad this is compared to mitochondrial poisoning by omega 6 linoleic acid. As we know omega 6 oversaturates the cardiolipin inside the mitochondria blocking omega 3 and such and so we get a reduction in cellular respiration and production of ATP. Would just love to hear a contrasting of the two. I am at about 16 minutes in so maybe their is one....

Our breathing surely has something to do with the stressful circumstances of our lives. Once again examine the social structure of religious hierarchal patriarchy that sets the tone for the stressful lives of the masses.

Sugar and processed foods. The sheer crazy amount of both of those. Chemicals in food.. chemicals in the soil. Failing microbiome.

Humans weren’t herbivores millions of years ago. We ate herbivores.
Chemicals weren’t poisoning any of us. Soil should still be the foundation of this same process. It’s not. We are dealing with a modern patriarchal power abusive blunder. Not seeing any effort to curtail any of it. Our days as a species are surely numbered.

Great discourse - the reality is for us boomers, we were brought up believing tv dinners and space food was all we needed to be healthy. Then came HFCS, trans fats, artificial sweeteners, pesticide and anti-biotic laden food. The "solution" may be affordable to affluent first-worlders but the majority of humanity is probably doomed.

A little poison with a little truth. Creation not evolution. I AM that IM is God, not you. Yes we're creating chaos. We are sinners. Solution: Jesus. Not against the science, just the failed theories.
