Why is it crazy? This world has become so damn sensitive. “You can’t say that “ and it’s like why can’t I say that? I’m 46 years old and when I was growing up in the 80’s-90’s we use to call each other all sorts of names,things that were normal to us would be considered “CRAZY” today. We didn’t have school shootings like there have been in the last 20 years. Columbine happened in 1999 and that kinda started that whole thing. A lot of the younger generation are either sensitive pussy’s or are the complete opposite and will kill you at the drop off a dime. I never imagined the world to be this way when I was growing up.

In training, the furthest I've shot on the AR platform without magnification was 260 yards. AR's are accurate but if you don't know your holds, how to control your breathing, have good support or have slow crisp trigger pulls, you will miss. The slightest movement or slapping the trigger can throw you off.

Interesting. In his book "The Reaper" Irving told a story where his teammate's bolt action rifle malfunctioned. Some problem with the firing pin. IIRC he said he didn't like bolt action rifles because he thought they were finicky like that. It surprised me because I always heard bolt action guns were the most reliable. That is what I recall from the book anyway.
I would recommend taking this part down. Too many lone wolves on the internet. An interview like this could potentially influence some copycat.

Most ARs are not precision rifles (except for the high end) and even with a match grade barrel and match grade ammo an experienced shooter will consider 1 MOA groups to be exceptional. 1 MOA = 1.047 inches at 100 yards, and at a distance of 150 yards each shot can vary approximately 1.5 inches. Like the man said, if you want to take out a lot of targets quickly then you use the semi-auto AR platform, but for precision accuracy - less than 1 MOA - then you would use a bolt action rifle. Even then it would need to be a high quality build.

An experienced deer hunter can make that shot shooting prone with Grandpa’s 30-30. Which makes it completely implausible the USSS did not have that roof secured. Part of the roof was obscured by a large tree top so the counter sniper team watching the roof couldn’t see the assassin. The team on another roof facing the other direction had to re-orient to deal with the threat. You can only reach 1 of 3 conclusions from what we witnessed. Either the USSS was utterly incompetent, willfully negligent, or complicit in the attempt.

With a 6mm Arc. 6mm Creed, 308, at that range, even if you miss, you'll hit as they say. Trump very luck he was using an Ar actually. In the other video, I said what he just said, that MANY people would miss that shot. With a 6mm or 308, less are missing it. for sure
556 is flatter. Not sure why you claim 308 is more accurate. 223 and 556 can be very accurate, 1/4 moa
Just looked up some quotes on the difference in accuracy between 308 and 223:
Both the 308 and 223 are extremely accurate and reliable. Under 500 yards it is unlikely a shooter will be able to detect any noticeable difference in accuracy between the two rounds.
Depends on your barrel length. A standard 16 inch isn’t gonna be as accurate at 150-200 yards as a 20 inch barrel with a 1/9 twist. All AR/M16 platforms shoot the exact same regardless of the lower it’s the upper and barrel length that makes a difference. Also you would have to zero in your iron sights which can be done but most people can’t see that far with a naked eye without some kind of optic. A red dot doesn’t have any magnification so it is useless imo

He did have a bipod and scope. Dpms rifle from 2013. That particular rifle wasn't that accurate. He is probably using different ammo than he normally uses. It all factors in in a miss at that distance. Adrenaline was nervous and rushed the shot. Glad he missed but sad for the loss of life and injuries.
