As a parent. As a man who grew up in the geto. In the hood. In the shit. Seen death. The streets. I feel everything he said. I always felt my greatest accomplishment was my daughter not having to go thru and see the things I had to.
I am also a veteran and father that will NOT allow their child to join up. That's probably true for the most amount of veterans in our history and that's really scary for the country
It won’t really matter because if the recruitment numbers continue to lower then the U.S Military will switch from an Volunteer Force to an all Mandatory Force similar to like South Korea 🇰🇷, Israel 🇮🇱 and so forth. USN Veteran (2013-2017)
That’s usually the case with veterans who didn’t have a higher education and went in right out of high school. Didn’t utilize your TA, spent all your money, had more kids, got a divorce, deployed more than once because of a shitty MOS. Gotta go the officer route!😂 I feel your struggle though…have you ever heard a complaint from the Coast Guard?
How is this scary? The actual problem is how big and spread out the US military is. The US military can be twice smaller, China is not gonna march on DC. Stop falling for the military industrial complex fear mongering

If you don't, the evil will go completely out of control. He kept a balance, instead of pure chaos spreading into the west. You're an amazing man Nicholas, thank you so much for your sacrifice so I can live in the best country in the world(and idc if you little snowflakes don't agree, it is the best country, period) and be free as a bird! His son could “not follow his footsteps” and be a patriot WITHOUT regrets and without PTSD that overrides his ability to reason before regret. “Be a man. Do man stuff.” Great quote.
I just want to say that not only is the sergeant an awesome human being, I believe that that man behind tha camera doing the interview , is just as great of a human being for his heart and integrity as a father!!!
Man this interview is powerful, especially for our boys, ball, entertainment or the military, those were the only choices we were taught & thought we had to make it out..
PREZ does the best Vlad TV interviews. We may have to change the name to Prez tv. All jokes aside, from the engagement with the guests to the genuine interactions
Mr. Irving's honesty is so refreshing.
