The singer sing out of his range most of his songs but when he sing in his vocal range his voice sounds very very deep and powerful

Bobby, I am glad you were able to react to this song. I think that their singing is not about wonderful voices, but telling a story. My understanding is that their ideas are taken from literature such as writings by H.P. Lovecraft. This may be the reason that Shinji is dressed as a "literary master of Meiji era". Toshishun is the title of a book as referred to in a previous comment. Even the band name is taken from the title of a Japanese short story. Thanks for the reaction/analysis.

The black sabbath influence is obvious, but i also get that Metallica black album vibe especially in the main riff. They sound very MetallicA at times.

Fun facts about KISS: The reason they paint/painted their faces is because Gene Simmons is a big fan of Kabuki theater. He is apparently genuinely interested and knows a lot about it.

Wajima-kun is dressed as a literary master for a reason. This is yet another song based on literature. In this case Toshishun by Ryuunosuke Akutagawa based on a Chinese folklore tale. It leads to pretty interesting and complex lyrics :)
They have a ton of great music videos.. but next I suggest: Ningen Isu - The Caterpillar
..which is just audio. But it's worth it

I believe ( correct me if I'm wrong ) Toshishun is about a rich man that haven't find his path in his life.

Thank you for this Ningen Isu reaction!!! The Black Sabbath influence is very strong and excellent, I love it! Bobby, my suggestion for you is the song "Namahage" live.

Japanese culture and politics are harsh. I believe that the influence of samurai culture does not tolerate the manifestation of pain, difficulty or failure. It is stoic or spartan. Expressing personal pain, I believe, is not well accepted in society. We can see this expression in Japanese arts, but it is not common in everyday personal relationships. Expressing oneself is an act of courage and political subversion. It's almost taboo. Testimony of a son of Japanese in Brazil. In Brazil, culture and politics are the opposite of those in Japan. The expression of the personal world is public all the time as politics. And those who remain discreet are considered authoritarian or with a certain distrust in society. Likewise, it is treated as an act of courage or subversion. Our lives are not easy. Thankfully, Heavy Metal helps us express the unspeakable. lol

That's not my air conditioner. It's my computer fans. I've talked in some of my reactions and even made a separate video asking if anyone knew of a fix. Basically for some reason when I run my OBS software that I use to record my reactions, sometimes it makes my fans randomly rev up. I still haven't figured out a fix. Sometimes they never rev up during my reactions. They're just very random. Maybe one of these days I'll be able to buy a better computer.
