Yeah, surely! You know what, many of my batchmates travel internationally all the time! Many are working from Bali rn :P It's all about the kind of role you're in - is it hybrid or WFH or from office. In case of from office also, you can always take leaves, will share more in a detailed video.

Hi Shweta, I recently graduated in Aug 2022 and had offer from an IT company but they postponed my joining and i never got mail from them since October. I tried applying to 3-4 companies but didn't get successful. Actually, I am not good at coding and more interested in learning about Finance and business. I started preparing for CFA level 1 and might appear for exam in May and will give CAT this year. My question is: 1- Should I drop this year and prepare for CFA and then for CAT only OR 2-- Take up a job in IT and prepare for CAT simultaneously. Because, there is 10 month time till CAT and being jobless for so long can affect my application negatively. Does passing CFA level 1 balance this gap time with some other courses and certification? And does cfa help during mba interviews. And does having 1-2 year work Exp add weightage to application?
Having work-ex will surely help during admissions, having said that, taking a year-gap while also doing CFA is perfectly acceptable, so no worries if you wish to opt for that route.

This EXACT situation took place in my interview and YES you will say I'll join IIM Lucknow - everyone knows it's a lie but you have to mention L's USPs against A's.
There is no perfect method to introduce yourself in any interview. During my placements in my college (MNIT Jaipur) we're told just to keep ourselves simple and formal and not to add any "extra" details in answers. I wasn't selected in initial rounds but later that month came Infosys and I was not interested but faculties wanted full attendance so I had to appear. II wasn't in the mood. When I entered the room one the guy says " shiv you look threatening, are you not well?" and I just replied with "selection nahi hua to to utwa lenge tumhe, chacha vidhayak hai". They laughed, I smirked, interview went smoothly. Next day was called to Placement cell and was reprimanded, since it's a government college 😂. Package isn't too good but atleast I've job rt now. Just being yourself in an interview is sufficient.

It's a reputed enough university, and students have made it from there to various IIMs. Also, your UG college's name/reputation doesn't matter during admissions.

The frameworks used for answering questions are the same across - whether it is MBA interviews or placement interviews but many sessions of this course may not be relevant for only placement interviews.

I'd suggest to check out the finance playlist of the channel, you'll get many inputs on skills required and courses. CFA helps the most, financial modeling is a skill that you must learn. Rest is data analytics, comfort with financial statements and good reasoning skills.

Freelancing isn't considered work-ex but NGO work is - as long as you have proof of work (either payslips or on paper).

I am doing BA program and subjects are Geography and Political Science. I have studied maths till class 10th and I was very poor in it .I am planning to give cat and this is my second year of graduation. There is no perfect method to introduce yourself in any interview. During my placements in my college (MNIT Jaipur) we're told just to keep ourselves simple and formal and not to add any "extra" details in answers. I wasn't selected in initial rounds but later that month came Infosys and I was not interested but faculties wanted full attendance so I had to appear. II wasn't in the mood. When I entered the room one the guy says " shiv you look threatening, are you not well?" and I just replied with "selection nahi hua to to utwa lenge tumhe, chacha vidhayak hai". They laughed, I smirked, interview went smoothly. Next day was called to Placement cell and was reprimanded, since it's a government college 😂. Package isn't too good but atleast I've job rt now. Just being yourself in an interview is sufficient.

No, SOP is very different - it is more detailed and has a different flow to it. Search for SOP with my name and you'll find a video. Have also shared about SOPs in the course.

It's a reputed enough university, and students have made it from there to various IIMs. Also, your UG college's name/reputation doesn't matter during admissions.

The frameworks used for answering questions are the same across - whether it is MBA interviews or placement interviews but many sessions of this course may not be relevant for only placement interviews.

Arts student which specialization is the best in mba
There is no restriction as such, students from arts have made it to consulting, HR, marketing also.
i am just 12th pass out & I choose BBA stream because I want to do MBA ...i had some questions for you..! The college I have just taken admission in is 50% Attended & 50% Non Attended and i have sufficient time of 2 years now How do I build my future in finance in these 2 years And my academic score is very low 60% in 10th & 59% in 12th 1. i want to build my future in Finance/ MBA Finance 2. Which course's/certificate should I do so that it gives me a plus point & I can add it to my resume ... That's my prblm please help me please....
I'd suggest to check out the finance playlist of the channel, you'll get many inputs on skills required and courses. CFA helps the most, financial modeling is a skill that you must learn. Rest is data analytics, comfort with financial statements and good reasoning skills.

Yes, you'll be asked for your birth certificate at the time of your admission in some B-schools, you can get it made by then.
